He just consecutively beat Cotto, Clottey and Margarito. I'd say hes doing a decent job of clearing out 147. Mosley and Berto are the only top WWs left.

I don't know. I'm am all around PR boxing fan but I'm not going to tout how Cotto would whoop Berto. I think Berto can take Cotto.

As for Margs and Clottey, I would give the edge to Berto because it's Margs and Clottey.

But for a Pac fight...you need a few more challenging fights Berto.

Berto is good enough to fight any fighter out there pac is not unbeatable never has been just getting the right fights thats all he is a great champion i give him that but he can be beat, berto will give him trouble watch and see but jmm is tailor made for pacs style of fight and could win if they fought again, berto is proven his self in his on ways he have a never say die attitude and that will get a fighter through the tough times. Pac showed his weakness and thats the body but guess who already knows that floyd knows so if they fought he will be targeting that bodyshot through out the fight

So I guess since this is the latest 1st-rd KO, Berto knocks Martinez off the 3rd spot for
          P4P? lol

Dude, Berto will get worn out by a well conditioned Cotto. No doubt!

he looked too good for a shot at pac i agree. margarito looked horrible in the two outings prior to pac. he just ruined his chances by taking this guy out so easy.

I pretty much agree with you I think Berto beats those guys but he still needs the experience. None of those fights will be a walk in the park like Hernandez. They'll all give him a real fight & then we can see how he responds when in a dogfight. He is getting paid as if he were facing that level of opposition already so he needs 2 earn it already. His championship campaign is weaker then Kelly Pavliks MW one was.

The Berto-Hernandez fight odds was at 11 to 1 (as stated by Kevin Iole). That really shows the difference between the two, and the 1 round KO proved it. This fight doesnt do anything for Berto. He should be fighting someone to improve his reputation, and not just his perfect record.
