jmm is a hero who clearly beat pacquiao in the 2nd fight
i know, because i was there at the mandalay bay

BUT, of course, he's too old, has too many miles on him
AND pacquiao is so Greatly Improved

that I would have to make Manny a 10-1 favorite
this is nothing more than a cash-out for JMM
    he does deserve it though.

147 is just the limit. JMM doesnt have to weight 147, he can weight 140 if he likes or whatever is comfortable to him.

When Pacman fights at catchweight, people complain. When he fights at no catchweight, people still complain.

When he beats hall of famers, people say he beat washed out fighters. But he can't get to his current stature without beating those guys. He won't get anywhere if he fought unknowns. So many folks these days have no gray matter ... Anyway, he just makes great fighters look bad, and these hall-of-famers are still very relevant forces in boxing.

At least in UFC, stars losing is not really a problem, they can just keep on fighting until they really are done. Randy Couture lost, said to be washed out and old, and then became champ again.

Anyway, I'd love the JMM vs Pacman fight, so Pacman can end the controversy. But with a loss by JMM, we already know the comments - not a 147-lb fighter too fat, too old already, etc. Give him a break, JMM is a very good fighter. But I do think he is not effective past 135 lb where he is already not the same JMM of the superfeatherweight division (wher Pacman was drained on the other hand).

However I fully respect that he wants to fight at welterweight to try and avenge a loss and a draw (although he won one of them IMO) and if he gets passed Katsidis then I'd love to see it (although he'll be well out of his comfortable weight class). But let's see it! It'll be a good third fight well worthy of PPV IMO!!!
Curious what makes you believe JMM is not focused for tomorrows fight? I got to see him train on media day and he looked as good as ever.

First I wasnt too fond of this fight, but after these past few weeks Manny should just take this fight. He must be delusional if he thinks he can beat Manny.

Cosign 140 is too big for Marquez 147 is suicide.

                    BULL**** !!

If Manny was a legitimate P4P champion, he would defend his title vs Martinez at 154, he would fight Marquez at 140, and he would not have demanded a catch-weight for either the Cotto fight or the Margarito fight.

Why would a P4P fighter ever demand a catch-weight? That is an oxymoron!!

Even 140 is clearly too much for Marquez, and Manny could easily make JWW.

Manny is a b1tch if he fights Marquez at 147.

And Manny is not a genuine 8-division champion either.

Manny will not fight anyone who is on top of their game, and he will not fight a slick boxer / counter-puncher.

Manny is a hype-job, his career has been masterfully guided by Top Rank.
