It is idiotic that JCC-Whitaker fight hurt the fight cuz of the catch-weight. The only thing that hurt the sport was the decision not the catch-weight. Martinez-Williams did not hurt the sport...Matter of fact it helped the sport cuz the KO highlight was talked on ESPN on the night and a couple days later.

Catch-weight for belts or not sometimes sucks at times. But, sometimes is necessary and not big deal...

It is idiotic to not realize the circumstances in going into the Pac-Cotto and why the catch-weight was asked. He weighed in at 138 when he fought Hatton and Cotto was a top a WW and a legit WW thread, it was not a damn old Oscar in there. Cotto was a different animal and it was a way to test the waters per say and asked Cotto to come in 1 pound less from what he weighed in his previous fight.

Is idiotic to try and insinuate that JMM is so much braver than Pac that he would whatever to get Pac in the ring. When JMM has a history of turning down fights and also out pricing himself out of fights against Pac.

I aint gonna take any of this serious until after the weekend is over, but depending on how the fights play out this weekend Pacquiao is gonna look like a bitch if JMM has to fight Katsidis in another war and then Pacquiao goes after him.

Even though I think beating Katisidis in a slug fest (which is what I predict JMM will do) is more impressive than brutally knocking out Freddy Hernandez in a one-sided mismatch it seems like Pacquiao is now targeting smaller fighters now that he has ran out of guys willing to drain down to his bitch weight stipulations.

Yes Floyd fought a "FAT, SLOW, OLD MAN IN JMM" and JMM called out Floyd. It wasn't Floyd calling out JMM, it was JMM calling out Floyd like he is calling out Pac.

But, does Floyd deserve credit for that win? HELL NO!!!!!!! no matter what anybody says that was bogus BS fight... Especially after not making the contractual weight.

To tell you the truth tol, I would like to see MP vs. JMM III at 140lbs.; JMM will not have an advantage at that weight. IMHO, MP will be faster at that weight, stronger, with alot more power. JMM is too slow now, he's too old, he wants his last payday. So be it. Manny will end (retire) JMM by the 3rd round via Hatton-like KO. Then JMM and all his fanboys will have to shut-up; b/c MP went down 1 weight division and JMM went up 1 weight division. With all that has been said and done; JMM will be the one on his back again. i think manny would be a great fighter regardless of the outcome w/ floyd because hes just as great if not greater than manny. lets get that out the way. Jcc chavez at catchweight was all bad for the sport, so bad example t make catchweight look good. I think catchweight is all wrong for the sport simply because it doesnt follow the rules of boxing that has been set for over a century which state the opponent must weigh within the weight class not between weigh classes. I have no problem with catchweight( unless its too extreme), just for title fights. Thers no defending that.
