Let it be at 147. Marquez can do ala pacquiao and weigh in at 142 or 141 and will still be consider a "welterweight" fight. How can Pac weigh in at 144.6 and not be penalized for fighting a "junior middleweight" fight. Following Pac's recent fights, I've learned that at unless you don't weigh more than 145, 147 or 150 you are cool. So if I'm Marquez, take the fight at 147. Boxing fans now know that you don't have to weigh 147 to fight at welterweight fight. You just can't weigh more than that. Let's do marquez vs pacquiao and settle the business.

Junior Middleweight max is 154lbs.; just as long as you don't excede 154lbs. then you can fight a sactioned Jr. Middle belt. FYI.

Floyd may never fight again. His father is slowly dying, his uncle is going to the slammer, and Floyd will have to pull every defensive move in his arsenal to avoid the same. Floyd is not relevant atm. He has shown zero interest in boxing at all since the SSM fight. He has barely spoken a word.

Floyd fought him at a CW of 144. Freddie ridiculed Floyd for coming in at 146 because in his words he thought Floyd could make 140 easily. Manny just weighed a little over 144 for a CW fight of 150, and they want to slow JMM right down by making him come in at 147.

Hope Arum makes Manny fight Shane or Berto at 47 instead of this garbage.

If Pac does that, then more power to him. He won't, though. Team Pac is already in full retreat saying why a Martinez fight won't happen.

De La Hoya wanted the fight at 147. The fight wasn't sellable with Pacquiao going from 135 to 150 for a fight. Pacquiao called no shots in those negotiations.

He called for an extra % of purse split. Or was just media talk?
