I like Pac and everything and I think he's great for boxing but it's funny how they'll only stick to the weight classes when it suits them.

Roach is saying that if ANY fighter from 140 and below wanna fight Manny they need come up to 147. Thats fair cuz Manny did it when he fought de la hoya. If you want a shot at the P4P Cash Cow of boxing than you gotta take a risk and fight him on his terms. Marquez dont deserve this fight and he damn sure dont deserve no catchweight. Let him hang out in a bar bathroom and he'll be like a kid in a candystore.

ok.. actually it goes like this, PAC is a WW, thats whats important. JMM should fight him at 147 or this fight is b.s.

Pac has ALL the leverage here, he doesnt need jmm, its the other way around. I personally would love this at 140, but Roach is not a moron, he will use ALL the advantage he can get, and so should any trainer, coach, promoter, boxer, anyone. Pac has everything to lose and nothing to gain.

            LMAO Freddie

So, NOW, you are not interested in a catch-weight.

Team Pacquiao are still p1ss-scared of Marquez

Marquez is fkn near ready to apply for an old-age pension, and Roach is still standing inbetween him and Manny.

Manny Pacquiao is not an 8-division champion. The catch-weight rubbish does not count, he is a 6-division champion. He is actually a 5-division champion if you don't count Diaz, although I do.

            With Cotto, Manny either.....
1.) could not compete with Cotto at Miguel's normal weight
            or.....
2.) he tried to intentionally weight-drain Cotto to gain an unfair advantage

Well, which was it? There are no other reasons to demand a catch-weight.

Manny Pacquiao is a 6-division champion.

Neither Top Rank, nor 60 minutes, will be re-writing history today.

Pacquiao will dictate the terms because he is the legit p4p champion. If he was to fight someone bigger again, they'd have to come down for him. If JMM wants him, he needs to come up to 147. It just how it is... the king dictates the terms... Just like how Floyd Jr is insisting for the Random Testing (since he thinks he is the p4p champion)

Manny is exciting but nothing else about him is good for boxing. Any person siding with Manny and his BS is an idiot. Manny is a coward that looks for every advantage he can get. Why not fight Marquez or Bradley @ 140? Why didn't he fight Cotto @ 147 and why not Martinez @ 154? Fake ass hype job!!!!!!!

LOL @ Roach, like pac cant make 147 at the weigh in.

but thats the way to show why there's a need for catchweight to begin with. People wouldnt sign it if they feel its too much of a disadvantage.

All this complaining about the catchweight. I say fawk it, let haters will complain anyways, its just a few. Youll never change their minds anyways

yes pac has the leverage but this fight at 147 means nothing. floyd beat jmm already so what will pac gain by fighting jmm at 147 besides another paycheck? NOTHING! so no need for this fight at 147 since we all know what the outcome will be. damn at least floyd gave jmm 3 lbs. less to have to gain and that fight was b.s. too but for pac it has to be 147

Roach and Ariza have stated many times that Pac is a natural 140 pounder. Even going into the Margarito fight.

Roach did state before the DLH fight that he would not let Pac fight above 147. So in a big way he did set the scale for that fight.

The fact that Pac is the "cash cow" and calls all the shots now does not negate the fact that JMM still makes the whole country of the Phillipines nervous. Nor does it negate the fact that despite his age and being battleworn JMM is obviously still a concern for Team Pac.

Ultimately, this fight will not happen.
