Here's where Pac supporters can't make any arguments. Because he's already fought half these guys, yet I seriously doubt anyone would have issues with any of them claiming they're too small for Martinez.

It comes down to styles, Pac fans know that Martinez has the style to pick Pac apart.

Its as clear as the nose on your face.

Look at Pac/Foreman, Pac claimed he was "too big" yet the guy he just thrashed was just fine fighting Foreman.

Could it have been that they didn't like the fact that Foreman is a guy who prefers to box instead of come straight forward?

You be the judge. Too many inconsistencies though.

unfortunately nobody is hyping those matchups. i don't know why? it's all about pac-martinez...it's crazy and the hype is not even coming from pac fans or the true martinez fans. it's just a bunch of bandwagoners wanting to see pac gets beaten. i'm not really totally against pac-martinez but if pac decides not to i won't blame him. the same way that i won't blame cotto if he doesn't wanna fight martinez.

Because Diaz is the kind of guy he looks really awesome against.
not too fast...i'm talking about his physical appearance during the weigh-in that's why i said look at the weigh-in pics. he looked drained.

I dlike to see JMM - Pac just because i think JMM won both fights and deserves a 3rd.

But all this talk of weight...bla, i cant be bothered.

If JMM wants it at 147, then so be it. Pac has a lot to lose if JMM gves him a real test.

Pacquiao will continue you to be cushioned and protected by bob arum and freddie roach. Manny is their cash cow and they don't want to mess up their streak. they would rather put manny in with fighters who can't move around the ring and fighters who have no hand speed. Manuel has seen better days earlier in his career. If you really look at things look at how many fighters pac fought at a catch weight. People don't seem to understand how hard it is to come down so far in weight and then perform at a championship level. Your body is fatigued, dyhydrated and worn down from the drastic weight loss. If you look at all the fights with the bigger fighters pac has fought within the middle of the fight they didn't have the energy that a fresh fighter would of had. perhaps if these fighters didn't have to come down in weight like they did then the fights could of possibly went the other way. Until I see pac fight mayweather, berto, mosley, or even zab juda then i won't give pac credit for his previous fights.

He looks pretty good to me. Sunk in cheeks do not mean weight-drained. Many Boxers tend to look this way. In fact Montiel looks a lot more "weight drained" for his fights even as he went up in weight.

Also JMM couldn't beat anyone in the top 7-10 at JWW, yet he is suppose to be competitive with the P4P #1 fighter?

How do you think Marquez does against Cotto, Margarito and Clottey? Dude gets stream rolled.

Lastly, People dissed Floyd for fighing him instead of Shane, so why give Manny a pass for fighting him above LW? Manny, IMO, should get as much heat as Floyd did if this is at 140 or above.

I can't believe people would even want to see this. I like Marquez, and I would rather see him and Manny's rivalry be remember for the two legendary fights they had.....not Manny brutally TKO'ing him within 5 rounds. Throwing him in with Manny is about as foolish as throwing Margarito in with Martinez...just because Margarito beat him a long time ago.
I agree, there are better fights to make. But i think roach and other people wanna see this fight so jmm can stfu once and for all. He has to realize that the prime Pacquiao of today is way out of his league. He faired well against the one handed brawler pacquiao who was outgrowing that weight class, but Pac has become a p4p beast since then. i think the only way he'll realizes this is when pac hatton's him.
