Mike, don't you think Roach knows Marquez is ineffective past 135?

If Pac could easily beat him why does Roach wanna make JMM come all the way up to 47??

Even Fraud didn't make him go that high smh....

Roach is contradicting himself, "yeah we could destroy Marquez, but only at a weight were we have 100% advantage"..

    lol wtf???

reality also tells me that pac and floyd hasn't fought yet in the ring. everything is just predictions not reality...floyd will dominate pac blah blah blah. that's fine as long as you don't brag about it. what's more ****** is when people bring race into it.
get a grip of reality...it's so simple.
I didn't bring race into it.

And Pac is only competitive with guys like JMM because of athletic ability, not because he's equal in boxing talent.

The talent gap is actually quite big, Pac just happens to be a physical beast so he gets away with things other guys with his limited skills can't get away with.

I had Marquez winning in 2008 and I think Manny needs to have a third fight to be rid of this shadow. BUT it has to be at a weight that is fair to both fighters, that is a strain to both fighters. Marquez needs to come up and Pacquiao needs to come down. There is no other way.

          pac-jmm at 135 is like pac-martinez at 147.

you can't despise one and accept the other.

It depends on who you listen to.

            A. The people that claim pac is a real WW which Roach seems to believe now, in which case he can fight Martinez since he just fought Margarito.

            B. The people like Ariza who say Pac could still make 135 since he's eating the amount of 3.5 people just to get up to 144.

Pac just seems to like having it both ways.

When its advantageous for him, he's too small, and when its advantageous to him, he's also too big.

            Only in Pacland.

that's what i'm trying to say...skills is not just the formula for winning a fight and that's the reality. if you will base your opinions/predictions on skills alone then you're turning away from reality.

who cares what others say. pac has already outgrown 135. look at his weigh-in pic against david diaz, his only fight at 135, he didn't look good and that was like 3 years ago.

Would people be ok with Cotto fighting Martinez?

Or Clottey? Or Margarito? Or Cintron? or Mayweather?

Here's where Pac supporters can't make any arguments. Because he's already fought half these guys, yet I seriously doubt anyone would have issues with any of them claiming they're too small for Martinez.

It comes down to styles, Pac fans know that Martinez has the style to pick Pac apart.

Its as clear as the nose on your face.

Look at Pac/Foreman, Pac claimed he was "too big" yet the guy he just thrashed was just fine fighting Foreman.

Could it have been that they didn't like the fact that Foreman is a guy who prefers to box instead of come straight forward?

You be the judge. Too many inconsistencies though.

                      Waaa??

That was the fight that had everyone claiming he was sooo improved. He looked awesome in that fight.

Because Diaz is the kind of guy he looks really awesome against.
