Do you really think Marquez last more than 5 rounds? I think it's Marquez' fans that are drinking the Kool-aid. Dude has no chance against Manny at 140 and that **** would be a massacre.

If it was at 135, I'm convinced JMM would not only beat him but probably knock him out.

Its not a matter of Pac being so much better at this point, its just that he's been able to carry the weight better, but p4p and skill for skill, everyone knows JMM is better and has him in his back pocket no matter what weight they fight at.

Pac hasn't been matched up against any boxers with counter punching skill and footwork since JMM.

I don't think that's an accident on Arum's part. They know he looks like an ATG against come forward guys. But against Marquez, Mayweather or Martinez, he'll look pretty average on his way to losing badly.

After a match that ended in a draw, I don't see how Marquez' demands were so crazy as many of you claim them to be. It was a horrible move by his promoters to take on the John match that's for sure. Pacquiao was not extremely better than JMM and an even split isn't a mind boggling demand. JMM brings the Mexican croud and many ppv buys it was the the promoters fault it wasn't an immeditate rematch the first time. After the second fight it was again on the promotions, Oscar felt like making more money and made JMM lose every chance he had. Pacquiao never returned to 135 and the rest is history.

times have changed so get on with the times. when pac was a one-handed buzz saw he was able to handle jmm's superior skills what made you think pac can't handle him now? if jmm's skills is really that big of a difference he should have beaten pac easily in their previous 2 fights. pac has improved a lot especially his right hand. jmm has no chance.

Also JMM couldn't beat anyone in the top 7-10 at JWW, yet he is suppose to be competitive with the P4P #1 fighter?

How do you think Marquez does against Cotto, Margarito and Clottey? Dude gets stream rolled.

Lastly, People dissed Floyd for fighing him instead of Shane, so why give Manny a pass for fighting him above LW? Manny, IMO, should get as much heat as Floyd did if this is at 140 or above.

I can't believe people would even want to see this. I like Marquez, and I would rather see him and Manny's rivalry be remember for the two legendary fights they had.....not Manny brutally TKO'ing him within 5 rounds. Throwing him in with Manny is about as foolish as throwing Margarito in with Martinez...just because Margarito beat him a long time ago.
Agree and disagree with a few things

The reason i wouldnt mind seeing it is because the first 2 fights were so close (even tho i did hav manny winning 1 and a draw the 2nd)

Also i do think manny would dominate him completely now....no contest...but the fight would HAVE to be at 140....anything higher is ******

The thing i disagree on is Yes Marquez does deserve to be where he is in the P4P list....

Its pound for pound!! No1 is saying he can beat cotto or marg etc...what manny has done is crazy.....Marquez has beat all the top people of the divisions hes faught in, and he has moved up and kept winning..if he wins this saturday, hes just proving how great he is!

Too late for it. Manny has grown both fisically and technically...Marquez is no where near Manny's level anymore

Pac is still the same fighter, he's just matched up more carefully now which gives the appearance that he's this multi-dimensional boxer.

Fact is, even your average boxing scene poster can look like a two handed dynamo when working a heavy bag.

The sentiment that *****'s are trying to clumsily express when they talk about Pac ducking slick black fighters is actually correct, except that they're using race to express a legitimate concern which automatically turns people off.

But the fact remains, Arum has kept him away from slick boxers who can counterpunch since the JMM fight. Back in 2008, when they fought, Pac was already being called "vastly improved" etc... JMM 2 proved what we all know.

Pac can't fight skilled boxers, only come forward fighters.

i think fans want to see the fight for closure, also the first 2 fights were both foty type of fights, and also to give marquez another or his last shot/retirement fund ....
