dunno but I dont quite understand when the world became race over nationallity, yanks would back a white african before they support a black yank, when did it get soo messed up that you back a foreigner who looks like you over somebody from your own country

Um no. Blacks routinely support black foreigners over white Americans. Go watch Pavlik vs Miranda. You'll notice almost all the blacks in the audience rooting for Miranda.

Only whites are dumb enough to root for someone simply because they are "citizens" of the same country. White countries will pretty much give citizenship to anyone (except other white people).

Sergio Martinez is white and Cotto isn't. I've never heard anyone claim Cotto is white.
