I disagree. No style is unbeatable, even though Mayweather Jr record says otherwise. I do believe Prime Whitaker would give Mayweather a lot of problems (of course their style will clash) this makes for an interesting fight.. Also I think Paul Williams has a shot (im no fan) with his huge output and work ethic, this would mean Mayweather needs to be on guard for the whole 12 rounds.. Williams is the most difficult fighter to beat since I can last remember.

these new fans only think your as good as your last fight. so whatever you did in your last fight thats what you will do always. and thats BS styles make fights and people fight based off your opponent. mosley looked like crap against mayorga then looked amazing against margirito. who looked good against cotto who looked good agaisnt mosley. styles make fights. manny dont fight like that everyone and theres a reason why hes matched up with certian styles. even zab judah was Teeing off on clotty until he stop and started taking shots. im a fan of the sport fan of manny and all these guys. but im not blinded and i know the buisness side and matchmaking side of things.

Jack is correct, Prime must be the keyword.

Prime Oscar beats floyd by decision.

That and his brain are hard to beat.

Gotta wait 'til he's slipping off his game to get some clues on what is most effective against him.
i always say floyd best attribute is his ability to adapt mid round. ive seen him make small adjustments and traps back to back in rounds against guys. people think hes not being agressive or hes running or whatever. but hes thinking hes setting guys up hes breaking them down. casual fans dont see it they jsut want to see 2 guys stand there and punch eachother heads off. but there are more aspects to the game than that.

manny is a punching machine but thats it. no defense and no thought to it jsut punches and if its not there he punches more to find it. and that will be his downfall against floyd.

to beat floyd you need to be a smart fighter and determined fighter you need good timing and you need to be able to adjust when floyd adjust. and you need to hope he slips a little. you have to make less mistakes than he makes and make him pay

prime oscar never beat anyone as good as floyd. he lost most of his major fights. i thought he beat tito but oscar showed he cant be dominant for 2 rounds. i think prime oscar gives floyd a good fight but remember i dont even think weve seen floyd in 2nd gear yet.

prime oscar best performances is tito mosley1 2 and vargas. so hes not unbeatable he has flaws and he was a 1 handed fighter those times. he would lose to prime floyd who was calling him out and chasing him

go back and read my post...I said "CURRENT"

and my second post was in fact about Paul Williams and how he struggled with Martinez movements and how the "High Volume Punching" is not the same against one that has great footwork compared to a flat footed punching bag

but I don't disagree, I think Williams would have a strong chance against...BUT the major problem with "Volume Punchers" they leave themselves open a lot and they are easy targets and they can be countered especially by a "QUICK" fighter

Paul does struggle with people on the move, however he still manages to grind out a close fight, this is something I've noticed in most of his fights. The only real reason I see Paul having a chance is his ability to keep going, and to keep going for 12 rounds, plus he doesn't get discouraged.

I don't think anyone with raw 'Power' is going to get to Mayweather. The way to beat him maybe to 'out think' him, or stick to a gameplan for 12 rounds. To many guys have thrown their gameplans out the window to Mayweather, they get discouraged to easily, that plays right into his hands.

                      Pacquiao's style can beat Mayweather.

You need to be able to apply constant pressure, and be able to throw a lot of punches with pinpoint accuracy.

Pacquiao is the only fighter in boxing, IMO that has a chance. He has the stamina, the chin, the speed, and the combo's.

I personally believe Pacquiao loses this fight but he is the only one in boxing that has a chance. Paul Williams, Sergio Martinez, Cotto.... They just don't throw enough. They're offense isn't strong enough to make up for their lack of defense like Pacquiao's is. Pacquiao can have a lack of defense because he can throw so many punches and he has so much speed. His offense is his defense.

Mayweather is phenomenal, but he can be beat...
