A southpaw or volume puncher will never be able to beat him. He actually is better against those type of fighters.

Those type of fighters might be able to catch him and hurt him, but that'll only awaken him. Floyd has had some of his best performances against southpaws and volume punchers.

the only style to beat floyd is someone with heart and determination and the ability to adjust when floyd adjusts and keep going. you must have a jab and other weapons and be able to put combinations together. you need good balance and a good chin and you cant get discouraged. i believe noone 147 and below could beat floyd. but IMO to beat him in his prime you would have had those things. dont need speed but good timing dont need power but good technique dont need gameplan but the ability to adjust is a must.

a fast southpaw with high volume punching, good stamina... Pretty much manny pacquiao... That's why the fight is so intriguing because i also see the opposite of who would beat manny pacquiao - a fast smart slick boxer/counter puncher, that can adjust and give you different angles throughout the fight

manny is a volume puncher against punching bags!! His output ain't so high when he is fighting somebody who can get out of the way, counter, throwa jab, and then throw a hook off that jab. His output drops when he starts getting feinting and has to think a lil bit.

Manny's last few opponents has made him seem like more of a volume puncher than he is.

exactly, most fans are bandwagon jumpers. They follow trends, not logic. Cause logic would tell u that manny has only punched crazy when there was something there to punch.

Floyd easily adapts. If you ask Freddie and Brother Naazim what's most troublesome about Floyd, it's his penchant to adapt which throws fighters off their game and frustrates them, which in turn makes the fight tedious to watch when the opponent and his corner are lost for solutions.

That and his brain are hard to beat.
