It still amazes me after all he's achieved that there's still people wanting to knock Foreman, the bloke's a legend.

I know foreman hit much harder than tyson but he was not an arm puncher he didnt get the full leverage on his punches like tyson but he still got a lot leverage on his punches and foreman isnt the only fighter who made a fighter quit with his power . Andrew golata quit after 2 rounds of fighting tyson when he felt tysons power , tyson broke the vertebrae in his back fractured his cheek bone and made his brain bleed , now if that isnt power I dont know what is ? .

Ali punched with his arms alot, it allowed him to pile up points while retaining his handspeed and allowing him easier escape, as he was almost never fully committed to any of his punches.
Ok thanks. I kinda figured it was something like that, when people where saying that it helped him retain his stamina, but i wasnt 100% sure.

So this is basically just about comparing Foreman's power to Tyson's?

Tyson could punch when he was beating women but he never showed the power to knocked out an upper tier fighters.Tyson is great at making threats then having his azz kicked.Tyson is great at beating women.Tyson is great at getting knocked out.But being a great puncher?I think not.

Screw Mike Tyson. I'm tired of hearing about the guy. He was washed up in the late 80's, and I question how he really would have measured up against any good fighters in his prime. He never fought anyone worth a damn back then.

He fought guys like Carl "The Truth" Williams, Razor Ruddock, Bonecrusher Smith, James Tillis. These guys ******. Mitch Blood Green, give me a friggin break. Let's face it, he went down hill as soon as Cus died. Somehow we are supposed to feel sorry for this guy? He had the world before him, and he was too ****** to seize it. He lived the good life, and he ripped off his fans by being a fraud.

He dodged Holyfield until he thought he was washed up and then got his ass kicked anyway. He found ways to make money by being a WWF circus attraction rather than a student of the game of boxing.

He fought Lennox Lewis for the money, and never had a chance to beat him.

He had his ass kicked by James Buster Douglas, which was the first time he faced a skilled heavyweight. Buster wasn't that great, to be honest but then again, neither was Mike.

It's time to put the myth back where it belongs, in the fiction section of the library, because Mike Tyson being the greatest of all time definitely is science fiction.

I've never been a big Tyson fan, not at all but it is very sad how he's wasted his fortune and ended up where he's at today,
