Foreman might of looked like an arm puncher but I dont think he was . We can only speculate if foreman was arm puncher because foreman threw them in an unusual way . Has any boxer expert or trainer ever said that foreman was an arm puncher ? . No . Its a theory just like an ex fighter who was trained by cus dmato says that cus never maximised tysons power and speed . He says that cus taught tyson the perfect style but that he didnt have tyson doing any weights and only had tyson doing strength traing for his arm and shoulder muscles but ignored all the other muscle groups . Ford has the theory that if cus had tyson doing weight lifting and strengthing all his muscles tyson would of maximised his power to the extent that tyson would of being able to knock out any fighter within a round . Whether fords theory is right or not i dont know . By the way foreman was a huge puncher but ali and norton say shavers hit harder . No way prime foreman beats prime tyson . aN OUT OF HIS PRIME tyson fought razor ruddock whos power was comparable with foreman and when ruddock hit tyson with his bombs tyson didnt even blink he just walked right through them . Ruddock was heavier and possibly stronger than foreman and tyson pushed ruddock around the ring like a little child . Tyson is without doubt the strongest heavyweight in history . Foreman punched harder but tyson had such unnatural strength that at the age of 12 tyson was able to bench press 250 pounds . I never heard anything about foreman being able to bench press that weight when he was a 12 year old child .

Foreman did seem to get more of his body/legs into his punches when he'd throw to the body though. He would pivot and dig those thudding blows into your ribcage.

For the last time, Shavers may have punched harder than Foreman. Tyson, Ruddock, Morrison, Lewis et. al do not punch as hard as Foreman. That's just the way it is, get over it. Tyson didn't want any part of Foreman. He was scared. Get over it.

Foreman's knockout of Moorer was a little more than an arm punch. If you watch closely, he turns over on that right hand. He didn't swing for the fences like some other fighters do. Whether or not he was an arm puncher really is moot. Pretty hard to argue with one of the highest KO percentage in heavyweight history.

It doesn't matter if he was an arm puncher or not.
As a matter a fact him being an arm puncher would have made him even more impressive, in my opinion.
He had power the HW division may never see again

Actually kid Ali said Foreman was the hardest puncher he ever faced.Read "The life and times of Ali" and Ken Norton sometimes says Foreman then the next Shavers but Norton has said since the car accident he was in he cant even remember fighting Foreman.
But oldgringo you are fight in general when Foreman would to got the body he got more of his body into his punches. And Little boy Tyson fan you are complete moron.Even Holyfield was stronger than Tyson. He moved Tyson around and controlled him through out the fight.Rudduck wasnt in the same league as Foreman.Morrison fought them both and said Foreman punched harder. And this is a old Foreman the younger Foreman punched even harder.Tyson the strongest heavyweight in history? How much crack did your mom smoke a day before he had you catskill?Did you fight Tyson or Foreman?Nope but you know who did?Holyfield said Foreman was the strongest and hardest puncher he ever faced.A old Foreman snapped a prime Holyfields head back and had him running from jabs.A old Foreman moved Holyfield around the ring like he was nothing.Yet a 30 year old Tyson couldnt hurt a washed up Holyfield with power punches and was totally controlled physically the whole fight so what does that tell you moron?Lol i doubt Tyson could bench press 250 pounds now.But when Foreman was 14 he was knocking out grown men while Tyson was mugging old women in elevators when he was around the same age as Foreman was. When Tyson was in his early 20's he was knocking out Frazier and Norton while Tyson was beating Mitch Green and Tucker and ducking a 40 plus year old Foreman.
When Foreman was past 40 he was fighting was with a prime Holyfield,A prime Morrison who hits harder than Tyson just ask Rudduck,A prime Moorer and Briggs while Tyson can't even beat Williams or McBride when he is in his 30s.As Foreman just explained to you Foreman knocked out Moorer with a little arm punch combination.Moorer has a better chin than Mcbride just look who knocked out Moorer compared to who knocked out McBride. At 48 Foreman took Briggs punches as though they were nothing. In Briggs next fight he almost knocked out Lewis something Tyson could never even come close to doing.Even at 48 Briggs said Foreman hit even harder than Lewis. The only reason Foreman didnt knock out Briggs was because Briggs knew he couldn't hurt Foreman but Foreman could hurt him so he ran.Briggs knew that he could hurt Lewis because he did so he stood toe to toe with him.You Tyson fans are the worse you will never seem to grasp that youry boy was a coward and could never beat the likes of Foreman,Frazier,Ali,Lyle,Lewis,Bowe,Holyfield or any other big man who didn't fear hype or men who ****d women and then got their azz knocked out 5 times.

tyson dont wants to fight a old foreman because he love him to much. f**ker why cant you get it for once?. foreman won over moore because moore let him or he just dont care. if you watch that fight you would see that more was careless, if he move right foreman wouldnt be able to hit him 1 time. instead he stand in front of george beg and let george hit him only moore know why he did that. foreman average punch is harder than anyone in history though when he swing it doesnt looks hard but when he hit mostly they went down. but a old foreman is joke he just got lucky and had chin and heart beside that his boxing abilities was gone.

Listen ******* the only reason holyfield pushed tyson back was because tyson left . Look at tysons body especially his legs and look at holyfields only a dope like you cant see that tyson was far physically stronger than holyfield and tyson at age 12 could bench press 250 pounds its being well documented . Tyson also at 12 was able to knock out grown men at 12 it was reckoned that tyson hit harder than the average heavyweight pro . I wouldnt pay intention to what fighters say about who hit harder than who . In public thomas has said that morrison hits way harder than tyson but in private thomas says that tyson was by far the hardest puncher he faced . There have been some fighters who have said that tyson didnt hit that hard but there have been a lot more fighters who say tyson hit like a truck and that was by far the hardest puncher they ever faced . If tyson wasent a huge puncher how come in his prime he knocked out a sparring partner every day the only sparring partner that tyson couldnt knock out was oliver mccall who couldnt be knocked out and the reason foremans jab had more of an effect than tysons punches was that holyfield was a lot lighter then and didnt have the body builers physique and he also wasent on steroids and believe he was it is well known in boxing ciricles that he was /
