Tyson also at 12 was able to knock out grown men at 12 it was reckoned that tyson hit harder than the average heavyweight pro . I wouldnt pay intention to what fighters say about who hit harder than who . In public thomas has said that morrison hits way harder than tyson but in private thomas says that tyson was by far the hardest puncher he faced . There have been some fighters who have said that tyson didnt hit that hard but there have been a lot more fighters who say tyson hit like a truck and that was by far the hardest puncher they ever faced . If tyson wasent a huge puncher how come in his prime he knocked out a sparring partner every day the only sparring partner that tyson couldnt knock out was oliver mccall who couldnt be knocked out and the reason foremans jab had more of an effect than tysons punches was that holyfield was a lot lighter then and didnt have the body builers physique and he also wasent on steroids and believe he was it is well known in boxing ciricles that he was /
    ignorance!

    how it joys me!

Foreman was basically an arm puncher. Even when he did pivot with his punches, he compromised his power by throwing with his arm almost completely extended. I don't think there is much he could have done to improve his handspeed, as even when he did jab his hands seemed heavy and slow, but if he had used a defense more consistently and learned how to throw shorter punches when he was close to his opponents...
I don't think the article is bull****, I think there is a lot of truth to it in respect to Foreman's KO ratio and the way he acheived it with his amateur level skills. When he fought Ali, I think a big part of his loss was that he believed his own hype big time by that point, and who would have expected Ali to stand up to that body attack anyway? If George would have just jabbed to the head and thrown shorter and fewer punches to the body, it would have been a better fight. That's one time I guess he shouldn't have listened to his corner when they told him to keep it up lol. As for Norton, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but to me George looked bigger than Norton in their fight. By the way, does anyone know where I can order Norton's fights with Ali? I've never seen them, and of course, they are never shown on cable, I guess because people say he's the only man Ali was never able to convincingly beat. Notice how they almost never show Ali vs. Frazier I either lol. Anyway, big George is one of my favorite fighters ao all time, and I felt I needed to comment.

Maybe because he never got a rematch with Ali. Moron.

Catskill you are on sad little child.Morrison knocked Ruddock out alot faster than Tyson did which means moron he hits harder.Lewis knocked out Ruddock in one round i believe so logic would tell you Lewis punched harder than Tyson.
Was Tyson able to hurt Holyfield with his punches Catskill? No he sure wasn't but Foreman hurt Holyfield through out the fight so again logic will tell you that Foreman punched harder when he was old than Tyson could when he was young.Tyson was far stronger than Holyfield but yet Holyfield was the one controlling the fight?Holyfield was the one pushing him around landing punches when ever he chosed. If Tysons power was like you claim it is then wouldnt he be able to hurt a washed up Holyfield more than a Foreman could a prime one?If anything Tyson was one of the weakest heavyweights physically in boxing history.I never seen any other heavyweight so easy to tie up.Nobody ever controlled Foreman or tied him up unless he let them.
I guess you think Tyson has a better chin than Foreman too huh?Even though a past his prime Holyfield could knock him out and a young fresh in his prime Holyfield could not knock out a old slower weak 42 year Foreman. But you are a Tyson fan catskill so i am sure everybody here knows you are a idiot anyway.
And Hollister Foreman weighed 224 for his fight with Norton and Norton was about 212 and if you noticed in that fight Hollister Foreman jab isnt slow.Infact Foreman jab and right hand has always been fast.He just had the tendency to paw with his jab just like Lewis did.Foremans hook was the only real slow punch he threw. And there is a thing call shareaza.com you can download fights from there for free.I don't know if that have Norton Ali.But so far i have Foreman vs Lyle Foreman Frazier 1 and 2 Foreman Moorer.Foreman Steward Foreman Briggs Foreman Qawi Foreman Holyfield Foreman Cooney And Foreman Norton. You should check it out its a pretty good site.

Tommy, didn't mean any offense by it. You have some good points, but they can get lost in a one big long paragraph. Just trying to help.

Damn formman was an arm puncher? then he most have had some heavy ass arms because he was a devastating knock out puncher. I always wondered how his punches that looked so soft could lay someone on their ass. Maybe cause he always kept his feet planted and all that weight just flew into his punches.

But imagine if george threw a full body punch???? damnnn he would murder a guy, if he could knock dudes out with arm punches what would he do with total body weight on that punch?

That guy is just like the rest of us, he learned about boxing by being a fan, or maybe even trained to be one at some point. Everyone has their opinion of what one thing is, and he gave you his. Sam Kellerman is also an "expert" boxing analist, but he says some of the ******est **** sometimes...
