I knew this would happen. Mayweather exposes JMM's lack of speed at welterweight, and of course Roach wants to capitalize on this. It's all too evident what they're doing now.

Wake up people, Pacquiao only fights boxers that have been exposed. Roach doesn't want to risk Pacquiao fighting a live dog like Williams or Berto.

Why, can't JMM come in 133-142lbs and fight a Manny at 142-144lbs it is only 2-11lbs deference?

Pac VS JMM is nonsense anymore.
JMM was KD 4x in their 2 fights amd Pac beat him crystal clear! , JMM is a crybaby

Manny and Marquez almost have the same height... if Manny want to weigh on weigh-ins at 147, then be it... thats he like... and if Marquez feels he will be too slow on 147, then dont bloat his self and weigh where he is comfortable... like Manny did last staruday.. he did not forced himself to weigh 150lbs on weigh-ins so he stay at welterweight to maintain his speed.

It will be different story if the other guy is inches smaller.

Dude Margarito is slower than JMM at welterweight, stop saying marquez is too slow at welterweight, Mayweather was just too fast thats all, if marquez would of fought a different opponent at ww, he'd do well. he isnt to small for ww so for all the dumba*ses who keep on saying that shut the **** up. Paquiao is not even a welterwieght but his speed and power is beyond the wieght class he belongs in. Paquiaos only advantage against Marquez would be his speed and power, not skill, marquez could neutralize his speed with skill and timing, he'd just have to be careful not to get caught.

not ineterested in a pacquiao vs marquez III fight at all.....specially @ 147 if pacquiao made 144 easily why not make it @ 140? marquez clearly showed he can't compete @ 147 it showed against pbf, never mind against pacquiao, roach knows this, they just want to face fighters who they know they can beat at their advantage

Although it isn't really ethical, I see why they did this. Mayweather came in as a full-pledges welterweight his bout against Marquez. Roach and company are trying to make a point. Ideally the highest that this should go is 140.
