Who gives a **** if roach says 147. Manny's not even a natural welterweight! Pacquiao will come in at 147 ish just like he always have and Marquez (who will also hydrate in that range) will still face a fighter his size.

Marquez actually gets to forego any dehydrating phase to make weight. Even if Roach says 154, Marquez and Pacquiao will still come in at around the same size. For ****s sakes JMM is still the NATURALLY bigger man.

roach demand at 147 will eventually shut marquez, manny is now in a different level, marquez is a great fighter but he is no longer competitive to manny's level. imo, there's no point for paquiao to fight marquez, there's nothing more to prove that marquez was robbed from their last fight, it's obvious that juan manuel stands no chance with manny at this point of their career.

which is which? marquez will go up to pacquiao's level or pacquiao will go down to marquez level? 'am a big fan of marquez but he's already on the downhill of his career, i still doubt if he can win over katsidis, maybe on his prime, but now, his age is a big hurdle to pull it off, not to mention all the wars he had been.

in their 2nd fight, marquez weighed 141 on fight night and pac weighed 145. if they fight again, marquez will likely weigh a little more, say 144, and pac will be around 148 like he was against margarito.

so what's the big deal exactly? both men get the benefit of not having to drain themselves. they're essentially the same size and always have been. the only difference is that pac's speed carried to the heavier weights, while marquez looked slow against floyd cause he tried to bulk up too much. but he doesn't have to if he doesn't want to.
