Manny can make 140lbs; but Roach wants every advantage for Paquiao as usual.. Roach knows that Marquez will be at a disadvantage!!!

right after the margarito fight roach said that they wont fight below 147, meaning no more jr. welter weight fights ...

aside from mayweather the only money fights are @147 and up, if PAC fights Marquez at 147, this is a tune up fight ...

This ship set sail years ago.

I'd watch it as a fan, but I don't see this fight being too competitive unless Pacquiao can get back down to 135

Sounds like Freddie knows that Mayweather is gonna punk out again. It doesnt matter what weight the marquez fight is at because first of all hes mexican and mexican fighters suck and secondly Pac is vastly improved while Marquez has gotten worse and worse.

Fight the winner of Bradley - Alexander at 147. That'll be a fight ppl wanna see.

I love the logic on this board: Welterweight means that both fighters have to come in near 147. Did it cross anyone's mind once that Marquez come in at a more optimal weight below 140 also like Pacquiao did with the 150 catchweight?

More sweet matchmaking. The sad thing is, Marquez is such a proud warrior that he'll go for this. Not to mention the money to be made serving as impetus. This fight should be on HBO. Obviously attendance at Cowboy Stadium was way less than expected and I'm going to presume that the PPV numbers will mirror those numbers. I'm glad to know that a large portion of fans didn't buy into the fight this weekend. Pac is badass and fun to watch, but I want to see him in with a guy in his prime. The last four guys Pac has fought have had their corners for less than 12 months and each one had suffered brutal ko losses prior to meeting Pac(with the exception of Clottey, who proved that he is willing to under-perform everytime-but Clottey did have a new corner when he met Pac.). Anyone who thinks those facts are not relevant just doesn't know boxing.

I like Roach, but is anyone else really getting tired of hearing his mouth?

That sure was fun watching Pac pepper Marg for twelve rounds.

Marquez should go along with Manny's refusal to not be properly tested for PED's and then after the fight is signed announce that he's going to voluntarily get tested and then dare Manny to do the same.

I believe ive already stated that...Pacquiao can come in at 142-144 and Marquez @ 140-135 to stay competitive...just like what pac did with marg!
