Thought this was the most interesting thing that came out of this weekend. I don't know how to read it. Maybe its the recession. Maybe its Marg was a cheater. Maybe many people thought this wasn't a legitimate fight. But the live gate is not going to be good.

As for the ppv #'s, I can't see how this fight wouldn't do over 1 mil. But I thought they would sell more seats especially since Marg is mexican.

Manny drawing less can be intrpreted many ways. While 43,00 is great, its less than before. From a pure business perspective you want to see growth, not decline. If there is decline it has to be minimal. Of course its hard to read these numbers because we don't know how many tix Bob gave away.

People keep forgetting that its in Dallas, and not in Vegas, where there is more reasons for people to go to instead. Think economics.

A lot of people probably was all hyped up during the Clottey fight and wishes perhaps that they should have been giventhe Tony fight back in March instead of Joshua. It will be idiotic to think that there is waning interest if you compare the attendance between the Clottey and Margarito fight. Ultimately, the deciding factor would be the PPV numbers.
