mosley got the stoppage, but he was holding alot. not to mention margarito came all the way down to 145 lbs for the mosley fight and only 150 lbs for the pac fight.

so marg weight drained himself for no reason at all? just because?

marg came in where he felt comfortable.

146.5, 147, 145.75, 146.25, 146.5, 147.

and he came in at 145.75 for shane.

I was going to post the exact same thing, it is funny that people can look at the other aspects of a fight when the tables have been turned.

The bottom line is Shane completely dominated Margarito and stopped him.

Pacquiao was dominant for the most part, there were areas where Margarito had him shook.

IMHO they are equally impressive. Mosley stopped a guy that had never been stopped and Paq beat a guy that had a serious size advantage. You cant take anything away from either fighter!

I remember Mosley was a pretty big underdog. The way he just man-handled Margarito....man. That's not taking anything away from Pac. Pac's win was impressive but Mosley's win was like...."Wha? Wha? What tha f--- just happened?!?"

lol.. pretty much summed up the Mosley fight for me too, I was skeptical as to Mosley's chances at that point in his career but the performance was basically Bernard Hopkins vs Kelly Pavlik, except possibly even better because of the conclusive stoppage..

Hard to call but at the end of the day I dont think many expected Margs to get completely destroyed like he did. Alot of people backed Mosley to beat Margs, where as pacquiao wasn't expected to brutally beat him like he did. Pacquiao impresses me everytime he fights, he sets the pace everyfight.

That's not true. Margarito was favored to beat Mosley and most thought Shane was too old to win. Margarito was the underdog against Pacquiao and most picked him to lose.
