I disagree. Compare the Marg that fought Shane with the one that fought Pac. Pac bloodied him into oblivion at Jr MW. Shane knocked him out at WW where Tony was drained hard.

compare a marg that was a 5-1 fav to a marg that was a 5-1 underdog.

there is a video of freddie roach saying that they would not fight marg after marg had beat cotto. nobody wanted to face that marg.

imho pacs was, when marg fought mosley marg was weight drained and not focused(cuz the handwrap contriversy)

if you dont believe me, looked at old post around dec08 -jan09. There was post saying marg was having trouble making weight and was getting beat up in sparring.

When marg weighed in for mosley as soon as he got off the scale someone handed him a pedilyte (used to rehydrate children) and he drank it quick.



the margarito, pac fought was at his rehydrated weight.


but shane was a huge underdog, so shanes victory was more of a shocker

mosley got the stoppage, but he was holding alot. not to mention margarito came all the way down to 145 lbs for the mosley fight and only 150 lbs for the pac fight.
