margarito was not focused for that fight. The margarito that fought pac was fighting for his name and redemption.

Performancewise it was a little more impressive because of the odds of margarito after beating cotto.

We all know that margarito weighed in at 145 that night and he could have also been distracted after that plaster incident in the locker room.

Not to take away anything from pac but he did beat the bigger version of margarito and a more determined one IMHO

If they were to fight right now, Pacquiao would beat him because shane is slow and opens up when he does his power punches. He also gasses out and has trouble with mobile boxers.

It would look like my sig when pac and mosley happens and they will also have a perfect clone, shawn porter

Mosley had the most impressive win without fighting someone's leftovers like Pac has done so much recently.

The weight advantage Margarito had was amazing, Pacquiao also could of finished him, just because it went to decision doesn't mean it's any less of an impressive victory! Pacquiao decided to trade instead of hold like Shane.

Margarito wasn't there mentally for the Shane fight, not to mention the shape marg was in for Pacquiao. He not only overlooked his opponent in training for Shane but was confused by the commotion in the dressing room.

All in all, Pacquiao fought a much better Margarito than Shane did.

If you're telling me the first six round of Marg v Shane are more entertaining than Pac v Marg you're mental... regardless of whether Pacquiao was hurt...

Shane was only more impressive to the extent that we didn't expect it...

What were the punch stats of the SSM and Marg fight? Marg werent in the right frame of mind when he fought SSM. He thought he would be easy after beating Cotto. And having his plaster discovered didnt help.

Lets wait to hear Marge talk about being beaten by Pac and he will confirm Pac was much more impressive. No contest in fact.

The weight difference says it all. Marge felt he was beaten by a little boy. He said he would beat Pac because he was too small. So of course Marg thinks Pac beat him better.

what i heard was....manny reduced the assault during the last 3 rounds because he does'nt want to inflict more damages, he could have KO tony on the 10th. he was even looking at the ref to stop the fight. but it looks like the ref wanted tony to absorb more punishment. "boxing is not for killing" according to manny...

Mannys,as much as Mosleys performance was sick,Margarito was having trouble with making 147,not to mention just before the fight he got caught with ilegal hand wraps, imagine what was going thru his head? He musta knew his boxing career was over,Pac on the other hand, faced a Margarito who was 17 pounds heavier then him,Pac didnt even have the best training camp, and destroyed Margarito, fair enough Mosley KO'd him,but the beating Pac put on him was worse
