I don't have a list but if I did I recon he would be somewhere between 20-25. This fight moved him up a notch or two imo

I agree with this, Jones is higher than Hopkins. i think Pac and Jones are very close to each other. maybe Pac is a little higher.

Holyfield though. he has a lot of great wins. but i dont think he is as high as Pac. he has accomplished a lot, but pac has accomplished more.

Ok, at least these are the people I "know" with my limited knowledge of who's who. I generally know the boxers but for now this is what I feel and could even change every minute. But at least I got Manny in the top 10.

I would think that if there's a SKILL/TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in terms of finesse boxing or the sweet science of boxing, then I would think that:

              1. Muhammad Ali
              2. Floyd Mayweather , Jr.
              3. Willie Pep
              4. Sugar Ray Leonard
              5. Roy Jones
              6. Pernell Whitaker

Can't think of anyone right now...on my second list....

Reload this Page Where is Manny Pacquiao in your Top ATG list?????

This meant it will be subjective at large and depending on YOUR choices and knowledge.

I put Muhammad Ali on no.1 because I saw him in Thrilla in Manila at the age of 7 when my father brought me to watch the fight against Joe Frazier. It was my intro to boxing.

This led me to study JEET KUNE DO (Bruce Lee's art) and various Kali (Filipino Martial Arts) and other Kung Fu (Wing Chun). I am now practicing Tai Chi for meditations.

So my main interest are their skills, evasions, footwork, the jab, the sweet science of pugilism. I've watched many films also.

And so yes, my knowledge is limited and I am only responding to what I feel based on my own experiences and studies.

This is a repost of pejevan's over at ESB (I know, I know, ESB of all ****'n places). But it's still food for thought:
