Unless it's for a lineal belt (like Martinez-Williams, where we actually know it's the real title), don't get upset about it.
The fight is the fight. There's a piece of junk tacked onto it, and Manny's 8 titles yarn won't sit with boxing historians.
Enjoy the fight and forget about the trinket.

Going below that weight limit depends on you. Ever heard anybody being stripped for going in below the weight limit? So Pacquiao could still fight for the Jr. Middleweight. I don't understand why people are crying he's coming under the weight limit, LOL. It's hilarious. People here are actually hating him for being more disadvantaged, LOL.

exactly my point though about Gamboa-Mtagwa, the same corrupt people whom are doing this fight were behind that fight and as I say time and time again just because others have done it past or present doesn't make it okay just like how just because Ricky Hatton clinched his opponents his whole career does it make it okay for others to excessively clinch

it was around that time right?
don't remember if it was before or after jones-ruiz.

The lack of boxing knowledge of most of the posters on this forum is de****able. Why the **** does it matter if Pacquiao weighs in as a welterweight if he can beat a super welterweight? The rules allow a fighter to weigh in under the weight class for **** sake. Do people here not know boxing. To add to this, we have morons who calculate Margarito is drained even though he can cut like 10-15 lbs of water weight and has 30 hours to rehydrate. Some people don't even understand that. Some people thing pacquiao has the advantage because margarito is drained... first of all he won't be drained, second of all he will weigh like 20 lb more than Pac on fight night. I am failing to see the Pacquiao advantage.

exactly, no minimum weight for a division exists
so all the "Welterweight is from 141-147" posters are made to look ****** when Manny weighs 144 in a Junior Middleweight title fight
**I thought the 141-147 posts were dumb to begin with, and people will do the 148-154 for Junior Middle .. but Manny weighing 144 disproves that ****** logic
think about it, if Team Pacquaio can change the weight max from 154 to 150 (vs Margarito) and from 147 down to 145 for Miguel Cotto
why does it matter what Pac weights? He's not coming in over weight

if pac wants to weight 144 for a Jr. middleweight fight then thats his business but i dont like him making marg come down to 150. pac gets to keep his advantage in speed while trying to make marg lose his advantage in size
