It mean berto has the speed an foot work to counter manny an even drop him if he hits him right, u gotta understand if you hav good foot work an speed you could counter easy, especially some1 like manny who leaves himself open for a counter. JMM has great foot work, not great speed but he did damage to Manny.

Because, JMM is a smart, technical, skilled, counter puncher.

Berto is none of those.

Well the Mayorga fight was at 154 and not 147. I thought it was common knowledge that Mosley is not the same fighter at 154 then he is at 147. He always look average at 154 and looks much better at 147.

Just like Marg IMO always looked much better at 147 then he did at 154.

But, anyways yes lets look at their last fights prior.

and Marg vs Shane.

Mayorga is a perfect opponent for Mosley style wise. I mean he couldn't find a better fighter to have a tune up in Mayorga. A fighter who loops his punches, and with no defense. There's a reason why Trinidad,Oscar use Mayorga as a an opponent for their comeback fights..

Exactly, Berto is a unified/undefeated fighter who hasn't been tested in the elite level at 147.. Pac's legitimacy to beat Berto would probably be true, but that doesn't translate in him in being a more competitive opponent for Pac. Who would win in a fight now between Marg and Berto. Because I certainly go for Marg because I have seen him in fights against Williams and Cotto.. I cant say the same for Berto though...

But, he doesn't have that.

His foot work is not even that good. He just has speed and that is it. And, is a very strong. Maybe the strongest WW right now.

He only chance that he has to beat Pac. Is to have a John Ruiz style, throw real fast punches and try to clinch and hold on for dear life.

He doesn't have the counter punching ability, the footwork, the smarts, nor the skill to be really able to do what JMM could do.

He just has hand speed and strength. Pac gets him outta there in 5 rounds.

All it takes is a SMART boxer to tie manny up, jab him, tie him up, elbow him a few times, tie him up hit his body. Then in the later rounds jab him from a distance and and put him to sleep. Trust me Pac man is hittable. Berto hand speed is WAYYYYY faster then Manny's. Manny is one of the worst technical fighter i've ever seen. He fights off instinct. Hit me and i'll hit u back.

Style wise, dude. Mosley was suppose to tee of on Mayorga in any weight (147,154, 160).. It is expected of him.

I am not bringing Floyd-Mosley fight because I think your are *****. This has nothing to do with Floyd. My point is that you dont determine the fighter's competitiveness in just one fight. You look at the fighters body of work and then make that determination... Garcia was the first fight of Marg after a year of suspension, how do you think he would look?
