Berto gets too much hate for a man who wasn't caught with plaster in their hand-wraps. And as much as some people hate Berto for making a good chunk of change fighting lesser tier fighters, someone else just got a 4 million dollar going to be 7 million dollar pay-day they don't deserve bcause the ppv will sell like crazy.

But, just stating Berto is the one who is more deserving. But, Marg is tougher. But, I do think Berto would do more for Pac legacy than what Marg would.

Berto belt might one of the most useless around. But, it still better and more legit than the vacant belt that Pac is fighting for at a catch-weight this Saturday.

Berto could not beat Pac, but is more deserving than Marg is and the out of the 2 should be the one fighting. Really, what has Marg done in the last 2 years? Nothing, in the last 24 months, he has 2 fights, and has gone 1-1.

The belt is there just for the promotion for this fight. But the competitiveness of this fight is really what people would rather see. The fight would still be competitive with or without the belt.

Margo is just another zombie... Berto would at least move, he also has some speed and he's undeafeated, it would be something Pacquiao hasn't done.
Pac has beat those slowass fighters over and over again, I would just like him to beat another style. I would rather see him with khan, bradley, alexander rather than Margo,Cotto, Clottey

Promoters are doing both. I dont see what's wrong with that.. its promoting.. The promoter is just doing the best they can to hype up the fight, and frankly to get as much PPV buys they could.

The belts were BS for both Marg and Cotto fight. But at the end of the day, its the competitive nature of the fight that sells.

Berto has no skills if you are talking about elite or world class boxer. He hasnt proved himself to be a worthy opponent. Manny would kill Berto inside 6 rounds. is speed would be ordinary when facing Manny's footwork. Margarito is dangerous. Paul Williams is irrelevant. Manny wouldnt get credit fighitng him in 147 because of a weight drained.
