More dangerous opponent for Pacquiao: Margarito or Berto? Official Poll!

This is all fine & dandy,if U want to lie to urself,I notice U only have 2 fighters in that poll,but lets keep it real for 1 second here,the Punisher is more dangerous than both of them!!U know it & I know it!!Berto is a much more legit fighter than Margarito,but neither are the riskiest or the most entertaining,keep it real!!

He's moving into a weight class that is clearly way bigger than himself. The fighters listed in the poll are most dangerous in terms of opponents near his size. If he shows himself to be effective at this higher weight, it is at that point that it will make sense to consider Williams and/or Martinez. Also, if you really think Berto is a more dangerous fight than Margarito, that's a very interesting opinion.

I didn't once say Berto is more dangerous,I said he's a much more legit fighter!!That argument about moving to a bigger weightclass has no merit,the Punisher can fight at 147,Pacman is currently the second best welterweight!!(On paper of course)!!The most dangerous opponent for Pacman(moreso than Floyd),is the Punisher,he didn't have to climb to a higher weight class to face him either,U know that,lets keep it real here!!Ohh & further more,the Punisher is very entertaining & I know that people would pay to see it & if Manny won,there could be nothing negative said about it!!

I personally think it's Berto, mainly because of Berto's skills. If Margarito's size isn't enough to cause Manny problems, Manny should be quite dominate.

Manny dominates both but he's alot more likely to stop Berto than he is Margarito.

Punisher hasn't fought at 147 since June of 2008. Give me a break, if he wants to be considered a welterweight, he'll have to fight someone there. Back in 2008, Manny Pacquiao was fighting at Super featherweight. Does Manny have any right to claim everyone at Super featherweight is currently dodging him? Of course not, that is ridiculous. Berto is more legit? Margarito is more likely to hand Pacquiao a loss than Berto, and that alone makes him more legit. It's not Pacquiao's fault that Berto hasn't built his profile, he's had plenty of time and resources. I don't blame Berto though, HBO has essentially signed off on multiple blank checks for him. It's only right to cash them.

What skills are you refering to?

I think he's referring to fast hands and occasional combination punching. Lately, some fans have equated illegal clinching to skills as well. All and all, Pacquiao has all the particular perks of Berto and more. Margarito at least brings a question mark in that it is unclear what his size might bring to the table. This fight is being analyzed very similarly to the way Magarito/Cotto was analyzed. We saw how that turned out, and Cotto wasn't fighting at Super featherweight 2 years prior to their bout.

I agree, Berto has talent. However, if you can't railroad Pac with power, you have to be able to fight 3 minutes of every round for 12 rounds. Berto cannot do that.

There is still quite a bit of complaining regarding Saturday's matchup. Now if you disagree with the fight on the grounds that a cheater shouldn't receive a payday, that's a fair position. However in terms of pure risk, and entertainment value. This has to be one of the best possible matchups available to Manny Pacquiao. I'm not sure what fans can want more than taking on the most dangerous/difficult opponent. So, since Andre Berto seems to be general consensus for who Pacquiao could have fought as an alternative to Margarito. Who do you really think would be the more dangerous opponent for Pacquiao? Antonio Margarito or Andre Berto? Poll to follow!

when was the last time that Pac faced someone with speed?

Berto lands that uppercut and you could see Packy on ***** St!

Margo is just another zombie... Berto would at least move, he also has some speed and he's undeafeated, it would be something Pacquiao hasn't done.

Pac has beat those slowass fighters over and over again, I would just like him to beat another style. I would rather see him with khan, bradley, alexander rather than Margo,Cotto, Clottey
