Actually during training is the best time.

But some athletes train all year round.. stay in shape 365 days of the year. So yes, they can definitely benefit from PED usage during their vacation.

I would personally be a lot more interested in Mayweather fighting the Williams-Martinez II winner than Pac. And, I talk to some true hardcore fans daily that feel the same.

Myself as well. And not only that, but he'll make probably in the neighbourhood of $20-$25 million for the fight, while Pacquiao is still fighting for $10-$15million a fight, because he's afraid of needles. Manny needs to MAN-UP.

So why not just submit to the testing. I mean, it didn't seem to both Mayweather or Mosley. Hell, Money's last blood sample was taken 18 days prior to the fight and Mosley's last was taken 19. So the likelyhood of Pac getting blood drawn on the night of the fight are remote. Because on 24/7 Mayweather-Mosley it was my understanding that a guy has to have a two hour cooling off period before giving blood. And seeing how fighters warm up a couple hours before the fight, its impossible for having to test immediately before the fight even being a concern. The bottomline is is that Pac is wanting a window to eliminate the deterrant. And IMO, that makes him suspect.

I'm just saying that is why he want's a 7 day cutoff. So he doesn't get stabbed right before the fight. I also think the testing would be stopped by USADA by about 18 days. I also believe that if negotiations resume then Manny will drop any cutoff demands because he want's the fight. I guess we'll see.
