Now that he's going to fight Rahman (which took him being forced to make it happen) that proves something?

There's no change in criteria here.

In case you haven't dropped by reality lately, Vitali still has only two fights since the close of 2003, and they were against Stiffs.

He's now (granted because he's obligated) fighting another weak fighter.

News flash: Vitali won't prove anything until he's beaten other title holders and unifying belts. Beating the likes of Williams, Sanders and Rahman isn't proving anyone wrong about anything.

Eveyone, wheather they like Vitali or not, should be glad this is moving on. Because after he gets this mandatory out of the way, he's in a position to fight for titles and prove himself.
    See what I mean,

You were one of the guys that said Vitali was going to give up the belt and avoid Rahman, then he was going to fight Brewster, then Maskaev, then Brock, and so on. ALL BULL ****. Vitali was looking for fights in addition to the Rahman/Barrett winner with permission and that's the truth. Every time you open your fat mouth about Vitali you talk BS, and then your proven wrong, and then you changed the criteria. EVERY TIME!

    Your just a friggen phony!

Even your math is phony. Vitali fought 3 times in the last 20 months and that's typical for a heavyweight champion.

Don't you think Don King has an effect on who Vitali fights? Or do you just continue to avoid the DK factor?

You say he has to beat the other title holders (DK fighters), but you already know should Vitali defeat them, you will call them old or fat or some other BULL **** just to discredit Vitali. And everyone knows Don King is screwing with both Klitschko's

You have no credibility on this topic at all. You are just a Klitschko fan fanatical ********* getting off on your BS and acting like an *******.

You don't think Vitali just winning the WBC belt makes him a good fighter. That's all I've ever said he was. I want to see him do more and unify too. I never once said he was the undisputed champion, the #1 heavyweight, or even the guy to beat. I've only said I like his style and I'm a fan, that's it! But according to you, I'm not allowed to be a Klitschko fan or I have no right to be a Klitschko fan. You've definitely got some sick anti-Klitschko fetish.

I don't think it matters to you if Vitali knocks out Rahman, Byrd, Brewster, Toney, Ruiz, all at the same time you will still hate him.

I haven't forgotten, Your objective is not to debate the topic, but to get on the nerves of Klitschko fans and you will say or do anything to accomplish that goal including lie.

You have still proven unwilling to join the human race and haven't a shred of decency. You are a poison to Boxingscene. Have a nice day.

We're not saying Vitali sucks. We're just saying because Rahman is so talented albeit unpredictable, this fight should be up in the air. Vitali doesn't suck, and neither does Rahman, so when Rahman beats him, don't cry to us.

Rahman was involved in the worst fight I've ever seen this past weekend. There is no way in blue hell do I see anybody who could honestly pick Rahman over Vitali with a straight face. The outcome was clear before Rahman put on that ****fest with Barrett. Vitali will brutally **** Rahman in route to a early KO.

I stopped reading less than half way through.

You're by far the most wounded, deluded, and bitter of all the fanatics.

You're making up terms and twisting things. It's sick.

Let me make it real simple for you.

There's a lot of people who don't buy into Vitali's hype. Some of them are down right vulgar, but I'm not.

I've said he's unproven, and undeserving of holding the Ring title.

To me, he needs to unify titles before he's anywhere near deserving of this HBO created frenzy that surrounds him.

However you want to word it, he's fought very little in the last few years, and it was not agaisnt meaningful opponents.

Rahman is not very meaningful either, but Vitali's hand is forced.

After that's over, there is no exscue but to unify the titles.

All this crying about Don King is bull ****. All he needs to do is agree to let King CO-promote his next few fights. It makes complete sense from a financial point of view as well.

James Toney is still with Goosen, yet had Don King co promote his future fights.

All you're doing is fishing for an excuse should he defend his title agaisnt another bum after he fights Rahman.

He's a large akward Heavyweight who's lost the two biggest fights of his career, and has a handful of wins agaisnt respectable contenders.

You're trying to force feed the deluded herosim you feed toward him as factual, and you are enraged by anything that conflicts with that.

It's like a little girl defending her favorite boy band with hussy fits.

          Save it.

How is letting Don King promote Vk's next few fights financially intelligent?

Because King puts on big PPV's, and has a large majority of Heavyweights under contract.

King puts on big promotions, and if Vitali begins to prove himself they will feed off eachother.

It's more money and reaching a bigger audience.

What you say is true, but shouldn't Vitali be able to fight the other beltholders without having to give King money? It seems to me that Don Kng is scared that Vitali will beat all of his fighters and wants an insurance policy just in case.

He's paying money to someone no matter who he fights.

Toney was on the outside, signed King on to co promote, and got a shot at Ruiz.

There's no reason why Vitali can't sign King on to co promote, rematch Byrd on a PPV with Zab Judah and Ricardo Mayorga, and if he wins, fight Brewster, Ruiz or Toney in fights that would be even higher profile as a result of the last one.

It kills two birds with one stone.

Title shots, bigger PPVs, and more acclaim.

The alternative is ignoring the belts, claim himself the real champion and continue to fight guys outside the top five.

don king's ppv didn't seem to do very well saturday, at least fight wise. so why hasn't any of his champ fighters fought eachother? you don't need vitali to have two of 'em fight to unify.

I just think it's messed up that Vitali would have to sign King as co-promoter to unify the belts. I know this is a business but King needs to grow the hell up and let me best man win.
