    This has already been adressed.

If Vitali's WBC title isn't involved, why should someone unify all the others while he sits around fighting poor fighters.

All the title holders need to get together, and fight in a two part tourney like King did at middleweight when Hopkins won.

This last PPV was a poor card, and King picked it up because HBO wouldn't.

Either way, King is going to co promote the fight with Rahman, and it will be bigger than Vitali's numbers and pay in the Johnson, Sanders, and Williams fights without a doubt.

      That's naive.

I don't see how it's a problem to sign the biggest promoter in the history of the Heavyweight division to *Co*promote his future fights as he tries to unify titles, earn the respect of the public, and make more money.

Once again, the alternative of taking his ball and going home means less money and enduring critisism.

All I get from a lot of people out here on this is that Don King is some kind of Gangster out to get Vitali Klitschko.

If Vitali is the man to unify the titles, King would be more than happy to be involved while that develops if it makes both of them more money.

Look at how much money Lennox Lewis made fighting with King as a *Co*Promoter.

i wasn't talking about all the belts being unified. but there hasn't been even mention of 2 of dk's 3 belts being unified. wouldn't you think someone who holds 2 belts would draw some attention for vk to literally make an effort to go after. either that or he could fight for dk's third belt. but don hasn't even started to get any type of unification underway whatsoever. i think he's too afraid of losing control of the majority of the hvywt action.

and i can see why ppl think dk is a gangster. he's been a known numbers runner and stomped somebody to death for a mere $500. he wouldn't sound too trustworthy to me.

          That's being dramatic.

There was talk of two titles being unified only a few months ago. Toney and Byrd were all but signed to fight eachother with the titles on the line before the steroid news broke. It was listed on boxrec.

King has ripped a ton of people off, but that's being used as a crutch and an excuse.

King puts on big promotions, and he makes people money. In this case, it would clearly benifit everyone envolved and would allow the best man to win.

A Heavyweight torunament is in the best intrest of the sport and he's just the man to do it. It would be fantabulous and extravagansical and you know it.

oh, i know a hvywt tourney would be great. but dk doesn't strike me as an easy bargainer. i think there is a bit more going on behind the scenes than we know.

and i'm definitely not sold on all the blame being on vk. i think at most the less of it may be.

At the moment, the "blame" for the current state of the Heavyweight division falls on a lot of heads, including the other title holders.

It's what happens next that matters most.

                completely agree.

i beleive wladimir said if he beats peter, he'd prefer to rematch brewster, but fight byd anyways. sounds like he's tlking unification.

byrd just said he's fighting in october hopefully.

vk/rahman soon barring some weird **** happen. what's up with that cut anyways?

                ruiz? what's he up to?

and brewster fighting krasniqi? i'm only giving brewster credit for fighting in hamburg.

Funny that you added Wlad in at the top of your list.

How is he a key player in unifying belts? He doesn't have one.

Vitali I think will ko Rahman. I dont really see anyone out there that has much of a chance at him.

saying that if he beats peter and gains a shot at byrd, providing he still has the belt, he should beat byrd. actually, i'd say he WILL beat byrd given the chance.

not listed in any particular order by the way. but since wlad/peter and rahman/barrett were title shot eleminators, they needed to be mentioned.
