After accusations of fiscal lowballing (don't type that one into Google), ducking and claim and counter claim the fight between WBA light-welterweight title-holder Amir Khan and Interim WBA incumbent Marcos Rene Madiana is looming into view. The two men meet at the Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas on December 11th in a contest that has already settled a number of questions.

Hey Mr. Dooley you made a mistake. Bradley is 26-0, not 23-1.

i liked this dude as a boxer but im starting to get seriously annoyed with him, where does he come off thinking he can fight mayweather anytime soon?? IMO he needs to get may out his mind period. he needs to stop mentioning other fighters and focus on maidana. he will get ko'd if he keeps his nonsense up watch

the funny thing is that mayweather would totally like to fight khan but he prolly cant cuz hes gonna get locked up in prison. Valuable lesson here kids, dont beat and steal from your baby mama if you cant do the time!

The 23-1 is referring to Khan, not Bradley.

This is boxing and fighters do get hit during the fight, I doubt that Khan is going to be able to evade every punch, nobody does. He can minimize impact and it will be all up to his chin to with hold so he can develope his fight plan.

This fight is going to define really where is Khan in boxing right now

This was a great read. One of the best interviews in BoxingScene's history. Green K for you, BPP .

Amir sounds very confident about December 11th. He always performs outstanding in the month Decmeber, btw. I can't wait .

Yep, I didn't include Bradley and Alexander's records in the article as the focus was on Khan and Maidana. One point on this fight, people went bonkers when I spoke to Amir prior to the Malignaggi bout, claiming that he was ducking Rene. I think it was a genuine case of timing.

I remember coming through when Lewis and Holyfield and ODH and Tito were circling one another and am thankful there wasn't a huge amount of Internet activity back then as we'd have had tonnes of stuff on how each was dodging the other. The 'Black Art' of matchmaking requires a bit of patience.

Fights do tend to get made, if you go on a fight-by-fight, story-by-story basis you just blow a phoney gale and waste your own time. Best to let events unfold in their own way.

Fully expect to see May-Manny come through, eventually.
