will marquez win againts dela hoya, hatton, cotto, clottey? coz skill is the one that made pac win those fights so your saying marquez will win those too?
marquez hatton at 140 was a real fight after the pacquiao hatton fight, right? Cotto and Clottey would've been at 147 and that might've been a little too big, but the De La Hoya that Pacquiao fought, Marquez could've beaten IMO.

they're both considered boxer punchers, although i see Marquez more the boxer and Pacquiao more the puncher, even though it's pretty even.

not even close. there are some fighters that just gives other fighters trouble. bad style match up. marquez is to pacquiao what norton was to ali. that doesnt mean norton is just as great as ali. that means norton just matched up well with ali just as marquez does to pacquiao.

resume, legacy, transcendent wise, ali & pacquaio are on another level than marquez & norton.

aaron pryor beat alexis arguello twice, but you will never see a proper boxing ATG list rank pryor ahead of arguello.

Skill didn't win those fights... fighting weight drained, shot, past prime, and fighting fighters with a one dimensional style that no longer could pull the trigger is what won him those fights.

If he's so skilled and talented... why did he get his ass kicked by JMM twice and got schooled by an old, shot, past prime, weight drained EM? EM was also beating his ass in the 2nd fight until he ran out of gas in the fight and had nothing left for the 2nd half of the fight.

JMM is a more skilled boxer and Manny has a better resume. JMM will pick you apart while Manny wins fights because he has a speed advantage and has more power.

When was the last time you saw Manny pick apart his opponent and put on a boxing clinic without fighting a past prime, shot, and weight drained boxer?

JMM is only loss in his career was to Mayweather when he had to move up multiple weight classes to fight the best p4p fighter in the world.

Pac won the Hatton fight on speed and power. Skill helped a little. Freddie had Hatton mapped out.

              Oscar was a ghost.

Clottey was a punching bag. He won that on pure volume.

He used a a lot skill to dismantle Cotto, I give you that.

Marquez still owned Pac for the vast majority of the rounds they fought.

Pac's power saved him from two losses.

Marquez is the more intelligent fighter.

              Hes the more skilled fighter.

That dosen't always give you the W though.

Sweat pea Whitaker was more skilled and a more intelligent than TIto and he still loss.

                skillwise
PAC > MARQUEZ coz marquez can beat a single one of pacs past 4 opponents using his great counterpunching skills

                resume
PAC > MARQUEZ by a landslide
