There is a bigger picture than just Manny's next fight.

A money-maker like Manny is extremely rare, he will be milked until he is dry.

I'm not buying into some grand conspiracy. First of all Manny brings in a lot of money, however, you know who has brought in slightly more? Mayweather.

Greenburg understands PPV numbers and I doubt Manny's next PPV will do well, because no one is clamoring for that match up. Boxing isn't predictable, one loss and the world crumbles around you. I doubt Greenburg has some sinister plan to milk Manny and then move on to Mayweather, that seems highly implausible.
