I never said there was nothing in his gloves. The evidence is there and i don't deny that. My opinion is based off of what CSAC inspectors testified to at the hearings. They testified that Margarito only had the wraps on for a mere 5 minutes. They also testified to telling Margarito "Dont worry we know its not your fault" and they also testified that it was Margarito who insisted that his team cooperate with ****m because he said "we have nothing to hide". Not exactly the normal behavior of man who knows his wraps are loaded.

Not really, he knew he was busted either way. If he acted funny and created a scene and didn't want to co-operate with them that would be a sure nail in his coffin. By him saying sure go ahead and check them gave him a somewhat excuse as to i didn't know. You don't just wake up and load your gloves on 20 minutes before the fight for the first time in your career. This was thought out, planned and executed before the Shane fight.

His trainer did ask 'hows the punch' its on tape him asking that in the corner but he could have easily meant how is Cottos punch?, how powerful is it? is it effecting you? etc the fact is we don't know what he meant.

Do i think Margarito probably used plaster in his other fights? Yes.
Can i prove it? No.

I think it was a case of rolling the dice one too many times and crapping out when Brother Naazim sniffed out a smelly situation in those wraps.

They may have loaded the pads for some fights and not for others just to be random until **** hit the fan real hard and splattered feces all over the place.

Luckily for Margo, he got off easy. It could've been much worse.

it makes a lot of sense.. and I remember a bunch of random youtube interviews (some were from esnews) where different sparring partners gave different testimonies.

A guy interviewed from the goosen gym who sparred with manny, floyd and margarito, said Margarito hit harder than both of them.

another guy interviewed at the wild card who sparred with manny and margarito said manny hits harder, and margarito doesn't have any steam in his punches.

a lot of these conflicting reports.. I think there's a high chance he did start using them in sparring.

Capetillo's excuse(it was on the first 24/7) for the plaster in marg's hand was even that he used the plaster to protect another person's hand in training and it somehow got into marg's hands lol

According to another story, Nazeem knew about the wraps b/c someone who knew, blew the whistle on team Marg and Nazeem was made aware of the situation. Nazeem went in Marg's dressing room and he knew what he was looking for. This was not the first time they cheated, they had practice with the wraps and Marg knew all along what was going on. Like Roach said, Marg punches like a girl and that showed in the SSM fight and the Garcia fight.
