I have people who sparred with Margarito in the past. Some tell me he can't punch at all, hits like a girl. Some tell me he's the best ****ing puncher they've ever faced. I think Margarito knows it (about the wraps), practiced with it and wanted to get the "feel" of it in the gym.

At one point, in Spanish, his trainer says "how's the punch". What does that mean?

Wasn't Capetillo's excuse that the inserts were used by one of his other fighters to 'protect his hands' while training but they somehow 'accidentally' made their way into his bag and magically into Tony's wraps.

So he basically admitted that his fighters used them in practice... but it was to 'protect' their hands. So what Roach is saying is basically backed up by Capetillo.

I'm not sure why he thinks it would have started after Williams. He did KO Cintron in 5 rounds prior to that, 1 round quicker then when he believes he would have been fighting him with loaded gloves and he nearly tore Lujan's ear off with punches right before that.
