Calzaghe has defended his title against much better opposition than Jones Jr and Hopkins have defended against. Eubank made 19 WBO defences, Calzaghe has made 17, take the blown-up little guys away and Hopkins made 18. And Eubank's opposition was better than Calzaghe's and Hopkins put together. Eubank can also claim that he had Jones Jr screaming to the hills.

To compare Calzaghe and RJJ is a joke. Calzaghe has been ducked for a long time, RJJ has ducked for his entire career.

It really makes me laugh, Lacy's a better fighter than Calzaghe 'cos he knocked out Reid who Calzaghe struggled with. Heard of a guy called Omar Sheika? Lacy has, struggled like hell against him. Calzaghe v Sheika? Easy night, KO 5.

Believe it or not lastnight I watched a few Toney fights with a few Eubank fights in between ( honestly I did ).. and I came to the conclusion that Toney just was not in that class ..! Thats taking nothing away from Toney .. he was pure class Toney .. its just praise for how GOOD Eubank was in his prime ..! His slick skills were phenonimal ..! Although admittedly Eubank was not close to his best by the time he fought Calzaghe

Im hoping to get lots of DVDs so I can compare Eubank, Toney, RJjnr and Benn watching a Eubank fight then a Toney fight then a RJjnr then a Benn fight etcetera and mix it up .. to try to come to conclusions .. but one thing I know from lastnight and that is that Eubank is so underrated and such an underachiever

Eubank was a strong sod, what do you mean he wasn't strong enough to hurt Toney ..? If Eubank wasnt then who was ..? He was more than slick enough to outbox Toney .. if Eubank isn't slick enough then I dont know who is .. watching him lastnight reminded me just how special Eubank was Id totally forgot .. there are v.few fighters in that class when he turned it on

Im am a huge fan of Joe's and I understand all of the **** that gets thrown his way, Joe is at a point in his career where he has no ****ing choice but to involve himself in big fights, I cant defend him forever.

However,

In the ring there is not a fighter alive that combines the talent and flat out excitment that Joe brings, the guy is a warrior in the ring-I just hope he and his team finally wake the **** up and fight meaningful fights.
