The fight with Clottey is all you need as reference. Arum was adamant on holding the May/Pac fight in texas. They would've made buckooo bucks off that event.. but it didn't happen.

        • When 2011 comes the focus will be on Floyd. Oh man, I just can't wait. The focus will be intense. The ball will be entirely on his court by that time. People will be waiting for his next move. Pac on the other hand will not be expected to fight for a year at a minimum for obvious reasons. The winner of the Williams/Martinez will be presented on Lil Floyd's lap. Of course, he would choose the mega-fight regardless of whether Pac lost or won in his fight with Margarito.

But he has to beg for the fight. I don't see Arum and company initiating the next negotiations. Beggars can't be choosers.

Can't wait. Interesting times ahead in boxing.

So what if he believes that? He believed his shoes ****ed him up for the Morales bout too. Oh, and the gloves. And Jinkee's dinner the night before. I mean, come on guys. Let's be real here.

What did he agree to? He agreed to the random testing, then he tried to change it from being random to being all scheduled...why applaud that? Get real.

Its funny because alot of Manny fans actually applauded him for rejecting the 14 day offer that was given during the mediation...hilarious.

He didn't call no bluff man. Quit kidding yourself. If TRULY he believes that he lost to Morales because he gave blood too close to the fight and wasn't a 100% then why would he fight the best fighter he would ever face and give blood close to the fight and not be at 100%...it doesn't add up.

Honestly, a fight as big as May-Pac deserves to be staged in such a great looking venue. I really wouldn't mind seeing it happen there. But, I believe Arum tossed the change in venue as a deflection from the real issue about drug testing late in the game, and not part of negotiations. It wasn't that important to making the fight as some want to believe.

Arum AGREED to the venue. So why this is even a discussion is just mind boggling.

Show me Erik Morales' history of not making weight.

Show me Cotto's history of not making weight.

Manny put weight penalties on both these guys if they went overweight when the commission ALREADY DOES THIS....show me where they have a history of missing weight.
