A fighter randomly tested throughout training will not use PEDS during that time its never about catching Pac using its about stopping him from trying to use PEDS ,,,,,,
THIS TESTING REGIME WORKS FOR FIGHTERS AND THATS WHY IT IS ASKED FORComment

Common sense would be not to use PEDs when in training and knowing you could possibly be tested.. But OST testing is done year round and Floyd isnt doing these procedures..
If you wanted to juice dont you think you would do it when you know your not going to be tested, like before your even contracted to fight?Comment

USADA determines the testing. It varies from sport to sport. Not every sport gets year-round testing.Common sense would be not to use PEDs when in training and knowing you could possibly be tested.. But OST testing is done year round and Floyd isnt doing these procedures..

i get your point but the fact is the thing that most ppl (including floyds camp) worries about manny doing is blood doping, i.e. epo. this greatly improves stamina over a short period of time and can be very tricky to catch. manny wouldnt blood dope in months leading up to the fight, he'd do it rite before. now do u get it?? if epo is what they are trying to catch, they dont need to be really worried about year round testing.Common sense would be not to use PEDs when in training and knowing you could possibly be tested.. Ouch! That kinda kills that whole argument, now doesn't it?
Also, just because it's called Olympic "style" drug testing, doesn't mean that it has to be year round. Floyd was asking for that kind of testing for a limited amount of time b4 the fight. Pac didn't even want to agree to that, so why would that argument be able testing year round?Last edited by megadeth; 10-27-2010, 05:19 PM.Comment

No I have no problem with OSDT but I unlike you understand that its unrealistic to implement it considering the giant cost of the testing itself. Promoters, fighters, and boxing commisssios are sure as hell niot gonna foot the bill. But regardless the test is something that has never been done in boxings in 100 + years of boxing and if no commission mandates it then i don't see where any fighter has any right to force another fighter to do it.This argument sucks. I could find any country or state with sketchy testing standards and say, "Why should I do any more than this?" The answer is obviously that it isn't the best program around in ensuring health, safety and fairness.
Do you think the Nevada program is better than WADA? Do you think the WADA program is safe and fair? If it is safe and fair (which it is) then why not agree to it? Why agree with conditions?Comment

you are an idiot. fighters dont determine the testing procedures, you ******ass.Damn your so dumb.. Floyd isnt abiding by these OST testing procedures. If he was then tell why he isnt being tested today...
7 day cut off before the fight is fine then tested right after.. What makes you think that isnt feasible when Floyd just had a 3 month layoff since his last test back in May.. He aint conducting the testing procedures correctly..Comment

Wow, then our arguments are pointless if USADA determines the testing.. 30 day 14 day 7 day, it all doesnt matter cause USADA determines this...
With this said 18 day prior to a fight was a reasonable amount of time to stop testing.. USADA knows this..Comment
