Com-on Chiefy,if Berto could beat Shane it would have done wonders for his career..Shane lost his belt to a great fighter(Floyd)and Mora was running for the hills the whole night anyone who gave that fight a draw needs glasses bottom line..Berto did not beat anyone on the level of a Mosley which means he needs a great fighter to start being taken seriously...IMO asking for 50/50 is saying hey I don't want that fight...

Ok Rome my homie. You know I respect you as a poster, but I have to respectfully disagree with 50/50 at this point. Matter of fact I have to disagree with 50/50 after the loss to Floyd. If we look at their last two fights(which is what will be used to negotiate), we'll see that Andre beat Quintana in devestating fashion(Carlos' name holds weight because of Paul), and he beat Urango at his own game(Urango's name dont hold much weight as he was coming up in weight, but a win is what??????? A win).

Now if we look at Shane's last two fights. He was drubbed by Floyd(completely, that win was an equvalent to a TKO to me as Floyd DOMINATED Shane from the end of round two onward), and he couldn't cut off the ring against an scared ****less Sergio Mora. Yes, I scored that fight for Shane, but it didn't go in the books with my score, so we have to call it as it reads.............A Draw.

Two Wins is >>>>>>>>>>>>One Loss and a Draw. Meaning 50/50 is out the window. 50/50 went out the window with Shane's belt. Which was reflective of how the 2nd negotiations went. You have to realize that Andre is a Champion at 147 and should conduct himself as one in this regard as he has earned it.

And for the record Collazo makes damn near everybody look bad

Shane is done because Mora survived with his running shoes??I believe you need a better measuring stick then that fight to really say Mosley is done..Shane and everyone else mention would stop Berto..He drinks and party's on the side when not fighting,he is no big deal IMO and I don't see him beating any decent WW..I believe Abregu beats Berto...

Basically what it all comes down to is. People would rather sit on this site all day and talk about who they think would win this or that fight instead of actually seeing the fight. With all the fan boys around here and the so called best trainers it doesn't matter. Cause only two people get in the ring. Shane was never a PPV attraction. I'm curious how did his numbers with Mora do??? Berto is a young undfeated champion at this point in their careers a win over Shane for Berto means nothing. Since everyone is already calling him an old man since Mayweather dominated him. But a win over Berto would do great things for Shane and put him back in the mix. So 50/50 is fair. I know Shane is your boy but that fight with Mora was terrible. I was embarassed for Shane but it is what it is. If he still feels he has something left then fight Berto and let's see. Instead of just picking our favorite fighters.

Chiefy you have to understand Mosley is a future HOF and has a bigger name then giving credit for..Let's take a look at their last two fights..Berto fought a inactive Quintana and was knock down but went on to win Quintana was rank maybe 8 I believe when the fight took place..He fought Urango who was not a rank WW and was moving up from a lower weight class he get's no credit for this fight..Mosley fought maybe the best fighter in the sport lost no shame in that,and fought the chicken from Rocky two which you your self said you scored for Shane at Jr MW none the less..Looking at this I say 50/50 is B.S. and to be real Berto was suppose to be Mosley's opponent before the Mora fight which would mean his last two fights would have been the Marga's and Mayweather fights so that trumps all of Berto's fights being the fact he has never fought and elite er,and both Mayweather and Margarito are looked at as elite..I believe now if he asked for 50/50 it would not be crazy cause of the Mora fight but for him to ask for 50/50 after Mosley just had a 24/7 and a big money fight let me know he really did not want it..

I stand by it bro,Berto loves to square's up and wants to go toe to toe to much for my test and he just does not have the best chin for it..I see him hurting Abregu then getting reckless and getting KO'd..Just my opinion on this and I been saying it for a long time..I bet money his people will keep Berto away for as long as they can cause they see this flaw in him..Quick question why has he not fought a top 5 WW every in his career yet??Abregu fought Timmy and was beat up but Timmy is way better then Berto at this point in their Career's and Timmy unlike Berto is learning to box more then just rely on his talent which I don't think Berto has done yet..Is Berto more talented then Abregu yes hell yes,is he the better fight I really can't call it cut and dry as you did..Abregu has power and heart,Berto has speed and talent not really skills but talent..I say it's just about and even fight,but knowing what I know about both fighters I'm taking power and heart in that I hope it happens so we can put a lil something on it..

how da hell does that make him a *****??? ill never understand this site. berto truly does deserve to fight these level of fighters and if he's willing to test himself against the best, then so be it. if he loses, hes exposed. if he wins, then maybe he deserved all the hype. but why bash him for wanting to fight the best??? who else can beat him???
