He would struggle against Cotto and Pacquiao but maybe not so much with Mosley due to his age. He should try to unify the welterweight through beating Zaveck and Senchenko, I know these guys are not household names but Hernandez is not either, and after winning the WBA & IBF his stock would considerably rise. Beating these guys would lead to a showdown with Pacquiao, with the undisputed welterweight champion title at stake. He's only 27, so has plenty of time to earn the kind of money he thinks he should be earning now.

Last time I checked he(Berto) has defended his belt successfully 5 times, Shane lost his belt on May 1st 2010(1st defense, I'm not counting legacy as that does not come into play in this situation being that Shane is begging or was, for fights). I think 50/50 is fair, not to mention it's even more than fair being that Shane just got a DRAW with.............................................. ...MORA????????

Berto-Shane would be competitive for about 5 rounds imo
Cotto breaks Berto down with body punching
and Pacquiao.......well.....we all know how that would goComment

Berto hasn't impressed vs subpar competition. He hasn't even really been tested against a formidable opponent yet. He won't be able to compete at the elite level.
Might take Mosley (mosley is done), Cotto would probably tko him, Manny would destroy him.Comment
