"CATCHWEIGHTS" will they hurt pacman's legacy

manny is a great fighter, no doubt.. but all these ****** catchweight fights, are redicioulous. and i really dont see how any pacquiao fan can support his catchweight fights

will his catchweight fights, hurt his overall legacy when he retires from boxing.. or not

I don't think so honestly. I think when people come to realize, the reason for it to begin with is because they want to see him fighting all these opponents that are out of his size, they'll realize he was doing it for the fans mostly. If the fans didn't want to see him against these marquee names, he would probably have stayed between 135-140lbs. Everything Pacman has done after 130lbs to me is a bonus.

It won't effect his legacy because nobody will even remember it. To me the Cotto catchweight was the only one that mattered at all.

Not really, I dont think these catchweights are really weakening these guys, I dont think the Cotto catch weight will make much difference or the Margarito one since hes a career WW, the thing that annoys me is the principle of him fighting for a title and telling them what they can and cant weigh, just have it at the limit regardless of it making a difference or not.

Oh and it is clear they are trying to take something away from them whether it makes a difference or not, thats why Roach has said "if we can take something away from him we will do it" in an interview.

                no it shouldn't

the BS behind the catchweights are things that people can debate against

the performances Manny puts on is what he should be remembered for

                and let's not forget

                Manny and Floyd?

have exactly the same amount of catchweight fights

yes Nov 13th that will change but as of right now they are on the same level.

                    oh and for the record

Margarito and his team do not see this as having to be less than 154lbs

they see this as being allowed 3lbs over welterweight so those meals he had to watch he really doesn't

if Manny and Freddie thought this was a smart move in reality they should have asked for welter because Tony would have been willing to

now he doesn't have to and he is on a good track for his weight
