Steve Forbes broke Oscar's eyesocket...and he couldn't crack an egg at 130.
Anybody thinking Oscar would win must have been high on something.
Well a lot of people did. I was one of them. Look, hindsight is 20/20 and as it turns out, Oscar was shot. But the point is: Does Manny Pacquiao take on all comers? No--no fighter in his position would. Has he taken some great challenges in his career? You bet. It's not a knock on Floyd who has also taken great challenges and, as far as I'm concerned, outdid Pacquiao in 2010.

Well then Roger Mayweather, Oscar himself and most of the boxing experts as well as analysts must have been high on something cuz they certainly thought Oscar would win.
He's taking some extremely favorable matchups this year and I'm not impressed. And it will catch up to him at some point. No amount of miracle stamina-boosting "Ariza shakes" will allow him to keep bouncing around like he's a 22-yr-old Amir Khan. Maybe it's best he retire soon. I'm still holding out hopes he and Floyd get it on, under fair terms. It's apparent that's the only high paying, high-risk bout the current pound for pound king might do.
Funny what Freddy Roach said about Cotto...Hatton...and Oscar.
"Hatton isn't the same fighter since losing to Mayweather"
"cotto is damaged goods"
"Oscar can't pull the trigger anymore ata 147"
You see *******....
Freddy knows Pac's LIMITATIONS....too bad his nutt-huggers don't.
wait, so freddie talks the truth now...
when freddie says something that can be used against pac, you guys ride on it, when he says something to praise pac you say he is full of ****..
fact is, those fighters presented a threat one way or another, regardless of what freddie says.
take cotto for example.. he was a threat to pacquiao even at 145. sure, he was the betting favorite but that's cause people were still buzzing about him beating the crap out of oscar and hatton. i think merchant said it in the fight itself. "the betting public put manny as a 3-1 favorite but most experts agree that it is around 50-50 or in slight favor of pac."
manny is a great fighter, and will go down in history as a greater fighter than floyd. deal with it.
