When PAC taps his gloves or raises his arms, its his way of mentally attacking his opponent by saying, "your punches aint ****! jinkee hits me harder than that!" and him charging up. Look at his style of combat. He has to stay constantly attacking whether itis physically or mentally.

As for Floyd smiling, its his way of saying, "oh u can actually hit me?". It plays into his defensive style. I'd be damn pissed off if I was chasing someone around all night and finally land a good shot while my opponent smile back. "what? U think this a game!?!"

i love it when pacquiao & floyd do those things. it adds to the viewing pleasure to the audience. how could somebody have a problem with this? what you want 2 robots puncing & showing no emotion? it adds texture, complexity, & excitement to the fight. I absolutely love it when both floyd & manny do those things.
