I say its more entertaining that way.
whenever pac raise his gloves, its like he tells his opponent : "alright BRING IT!"
and whenever floyd smiles, hes like saying "so you wanna play tough huh?"

as someone else mentioned, its a natural reaction/habit. that, and it just adds excitement and flavor in these fights.

I don't see why anyone would care, your not the one standing there getting smashed in the face by a trained fighter wearing 8 oz gloves.

Personally I like a little bit of agression, when pac taps his gloves together it shows that he understands his opponent hit him but is telling him that he can take it, bring on more.

where mayweather smiling shows that "yea you hit me, and you think thats gonna be enough to stop me, dont make me laugh"

This is boxing, your not just fighting a guy physically but mentally; any little thing to break them down is a great strategy.
