people on this board don't respect boxing if they don't respect floyd as a boxer. we're talking about a guy who has a strong case to be the best of his generation....and we have ****** ass *******s/floyd haters saying they don't respect him as a boxer, as if any body off the street can just get up and do what he does in the ring.Comment

Some people fail to realize what the TS is asking. I respect Floyds athleticism and boxing skills. The guy is an athlete and is very impressive on his gym work. I don't care about his personal life. It has nothing to do with me.Comment

I know alot of people dislike him, Hell I notice alot of people on here (Especially Pacfans) hate the man.
But do you respect him?
Do you respect his talent his work ethic and what he has done for the sport?
I understand how some people may not like him outside the ring due to his attitude and his money obsession,
His sheer Stubbornness is what annoys me.
But I don't understand how any BOXING FAN can really distinguish him inside the ring,
How any BOXING FAN can not respect this mans skill is mind blowing.
Basically a Question to the Haters, You may not like Floyd but do you RESPECT him?
as of his persona, i respect him more , atleast he aint afraid to play the villain
inside the ring, i dont respect him cus he's boring as hell.Comment

i'm not speaking about him on his activities outside the ring....you don't have to give two ****s about him outside the ring....i don't give a ****. but to say you don't respect him as a boxer, as if he's not a first ballot hof'er or an atg is just flat out hating....i don't care what anyone says.Comment

How can you respect a boxer who retires when the competition is getting tough? In his prime. I don't buy the Arum excuse. Williams and Martinez are non Arum fighters. If he is that good, he would have done more win or lose.
Naah. Never.Comment
