dont know why haters on calling peterson a hype job. had peterson fought on the outside and confused bradley, i admit it wouldve been a boring, yet close fight. he chose to use his long reach and 'boxer' physique to fight on the inside and became (rather) easy pickins for bradley. Whose Rio's fighting next? ahaha.

This might actually be a tougher fight for Ortiz stylistically than Kotelnik would've been.

Very good fight and almost a must win for both. Its a shame one of these two talented young fighters will be labeled a bum for taking this type of risky fight.

This could be a real challenge for Ortiz, Peterson has some boxing skills.

                Glad they made this one.

if peterson decides to use his boxing skills, unlike what he did vs bradley, this could be a very technical fight. the problem with the peterson brothers is that although they are very skilled, they choose to fight in close quarters and exchange. they both have a tendency to try to block, parry and counter on the inside instead of using their footwork to box on the outside. instead of proving how skilled they ar, they try to out-tough their opponents sometimes, which is a huge tactical error on their part.
lamont is more skilled technically than his brother, but he's a light hitter.

anyways, props to GBP for making these fights. great replacement.

Very legitimate test for Ortiz. A big step up from Vivian Harris.

Pretty good fight. I just don't think much of the Peterson's. They both lost big when they finally stepped up when I felt like they were protected all along. And niether can punch. I believe this will be Ortiz's final test for his "comeback".

At least he will bring punch volume and inside fighting to Ortiz. Something different. Maidana was one dimensional with his right hand. Peterson will go upstairs and down stairs with all kinds of punches.
