He was unconscious for a few seconds but in any case that's completely irrelevant. Gerald McClellan wasn't left unconscious on the mat against Benn, but he is semi-paralysed for life now as a result of that fight. You don't need to be left unconscious to have neurological damage.Comment

There is no rational reason not to give him the benefit of the doubt. All the reasons people are giving are emotional and irrational. And IMO, as long as there is any chance at all that it's genuine, which there is, it is callous and inhumane in the extreme not to give him the benefit of the doubt.Last edited by Dave Rado; 10-10-2010, 02:39 AM.Comment

If Andre ever makes a return to the ring, he better be ready for a whole lot of criticism. His team is making quite a big deal out of his situation, that they may regret what they're saying if we see Andre fight again. If the injury is legit, i wish him all the best, but i for one will not be impressed if he fights within 12 months.Comment

maybe all those years of being in the closet has finally caught up to dirrell.
all those years without **** is making him lose his mind.
dirrell is secretly in love with ward and doesn't want to punch his handsome face. and he's afraid of getting a boner when they clinch.Comment

You people are so gullible. Dirrell is a faker, end of story. If his neurological problems were real he would have been advised to permanently retire. Cause who the hell would grant him a licence to fight with a brain injury right? Pfft, I call BS
Expect a "miraculous" recovery in 2011.Comment
