Vitali is undefeated

Well I am not denying that, but there are "losses", and then there are losses. Vitaly doesn't have real losses like Lewis does. He has never been on his back, lying on the canvas, seeing Rahman's or McCall's smiling ugly mug blocking the ceiling lights.Comment

sure enough it happened.
if he wasnt so prone to cuts i beleive he would have won that fight. but then again lennox wasnt exactly in his prime eitherComment

hahahahaha I don't hate my race, I just don't make excuses for it and let it play the way it does without saying something. Believe me, I understand all races are guilty of this sort of thing. I get red k'd because I don't sugar coat things and the truth hurts. All you're doing is making your self look like a little cry baby because you can't handle my opinion.Comment

Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis
THE TRUTH
Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.
Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and was hurt several times in the fight.
punches landed
Vitali 156
Lewis 102
Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.
All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.
Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.
Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.
Lewis turned down 30 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.
Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement.

those are real losses. I know hes better than byrd but he lost to lewis really. he cut him up bad. i remember before the fight my dad was talking about how europeans generally get cut up more and he figured he would lose via stoppage on cuts
sure enough it happened.

If Vitaly quit on his own after getting cut, then yes, I would say that Lewis won, but the ring doctor didn't even give him a warning that he will stop the fight in a round or two, he just stopped it, Vitaly was protesting like crazy. The whole crowd booed Lewis and cheered Vitlay, Vitaly was the victor that night in the "eyes" (no pun intended) of many. The biggest factor for me is that Lewis promised a rematch and retired immediately afterwards, even though that fight could have earned him $20-$30 million easy. In his heart he knew he couldn't beat Vitaly.Comment
