    Vitali is undefeated

    Does anyone disagree?

Chris Byrd- Vitali would never give up like that without a reason much less give up in the 10th round when you are way ahead on points. plus vitali could have knocked him out easily. look at who chris byrds next fight was with. wladimir i think its obvious what vitali did and he waited so long in the fight so everyone would know. he was basically giving chris byrd the belt so he could then give it to wlad in his next fight.

Lennox Lewis- if they hadn't stopped this fight it would have been the best match ever. Lewis had gave vitali everything he had and realized he wasnt going to be stopped and had the fight gone on i dont think vitali would have needed points (even though he was ahead). vitali looked like the terminator in this fight. lewis was happy the fight was stopped as he should have been because he wouldn't have beat vitali fair. and anyone who saw how mad vitali was and still thinks i am wrong about the byrd fight is an idiot. vital would not quit for any other reason. adn this fight proves it.

    I agree.

I have never understood why people are all over Wlad when Vitali is the real deal.

No, he has two losses. He quit in one fight because of an injury possibly caused by Chris Byrd, and then in the Lennox Lewis fight he got his one eye battered to a bloody pulp. They had to stop the fight because even if he could win that fight he'd have a great chance at being blind the rest of his life.

Vitali was on his way out when they stopped it against Lewis. Look how hurt he was and holding on for dear life at the end of the sixth round. The white doctors and officials knew he was done and were only letting that fight go so far because Vitali was putting up a good fight and they thought at first he might have a chance at beating Lewis. That's exactly how it was in that fight. And as far as the Byrd fight, Vitali was getting tagged like crazy in that 9th round and not acting like he had hurt his left hand or shoulder at all. Your conspiracy theory is something your mind has made up out of your denial that Vitali was actually beat by these two Black men. And btw, I'm a white boy and I can clearly see where you are coming from. Be pacient, a good white dude may come along some day, but its not the Kitchstko brothers. lol

You don't post like a white person, maybe you like lots of eminem music. But yes I do agree with you that Vitali lost fair in both fight. He quit in one and the other had to be stopped because Vitali's eye was torn up. The reason, I'm saying you're not white is because you constantly emphasize the word white in your post.

Oh for God's sake, no! Vitali has two losses. They weren't bad losses (though the Byrd fight was a black cloud over his head for a long while) but they were losses nonetheless. And don't bring up any up-on-the-scorecards BS regarding the Lennox fight or any of the other jazz (you know what I mean). Vitali was stopped fair and square in that fight, doctor stoppage from a horrendous series of eye cuts sustained from perfectly legitimate punches landed in that area over the course of the fight.

Why do some Vitali fans feel the need to debate this? He acquitted himself awesomely in that fight and more or less sealed the deal on Lennox's retirement. It wasn't like he was outclassed and KTFO, was it? Losses happen, nearly all the greats have at least two, many more. It's a sign you're taking on the best. Look at Vitali's victories and the manner in which he got them, not at his losses, in an attempt to try to downplay or negate them. It's foolish and sad.

Maybe because Lennox masterfully retired when he saw he was going to get beaten eventually?

go watch the Lewis vs Vitali fight again, Lewis hadnt hit him with everything he had, he was just warming to the fight after a slow start :P he had taken the best shots Vitali had and definately would of the ko in the late rounds.

vitali ws impressive against lewis, but dont forget that was a poorly conditioned lewis who took the fight on 2 weeks notice. that eye injury was very bad! and that uppercut lewis landed in the 6th was sick! how the hell did vitali take that!
