According to Leon Lawson Jr., the uncle and co-trainer of super middleweight contender Andre Dirrell, the disqualification shot from Arthur Abraham is the likely cause of Dirrell's "neurological problems." On Thursday, Showtime Sports General Manager Ken Herschman announced that Dirrell had withdrawn from Super Six Boxing Classic. Dirrell was scheduled to fight close friend Andre Ward on November 27.

I cant believe it....using Abraham( whos not American) and the people who actually have this kind of disorder to give Ward a free semi finals pass, give him a tune-up, and at the end of a day they havnt to fight eachother and Ward is going to be the next American cashcow for the promoters.......without damaging his perfect record.....

Thats BS. If you watch the HD replay you will see it had about the same power as a slap, if it actually hurt him then he wouldve been dazed for a second or two if not longer, he wasnt even stunned he started crying right away. Plus he was relaxed, studies have shown that People who get into accidents that have alcohol in their body are less likely to suffer injuries as people who dont have alcohol. This is because alcohol makes you loose and not stiff.

I have a hard time believing a slap let to brain trauma, we would see thousands a cases a day since people get slapped everyday harder than he took the punch.

Direll is a coward for blaming his condition on that slap. He prolly took too many blows in his life and his mind wasnt built for it, simple as that.

thats bull**** cuz dirrell was already training for a september fight with ward....so he wouldve sparred......they just didnt want to fight ward....direll will come back fighting lil no hopers next year.....
