Comments Thread For: Klitschko's Cutman on Wladimir Poisoned, Briggs' Asthma

Team Klitschko cutman Jacob "Stitch" Duran discussed a few different topics with Flare, including Vitali's defense of the WBC title against Shannon Briggs on October 16 and the rumors of Wladimir Klitschko being poisoned in the first fight with Lamon Brewster in 2004.

Wladimir was definitely poisoned against Brewster. He was easily winning that fight and all of the sudden he was totally done.

I don't blame them for not fighting in the U.S. where chicanery in boxing is so commonplace.

Wladi***** was definitely poisoned.....by cowardice. It's a poison that seems hereditary since it runs in the blood of both Klitchkos. Until one or both of them step up to the plate and challenge for the REAL Heavyweight Championship held by David Haye, they're both gutless turds.

Boxers find it difficult to cope with losing, I still remember the poison excuses and it makes me laugh everytime it comes up.

Wlad was definitely poisoned in the first fight. In the rematch, Wlad completely dominated Brewster and made him quit in 6.

I never buy into fighters being poisoned. Like the Foreman story from back in the day. Now, I havent seen the Wlad v Brewster fight since it first happened, but I seem to remember Wlad beating the dog **** out of him and being so tired he could hardly hold his arms up. It looked like he just punched himself out in an epic way.
